i somehow missed the moon knight series announcement and hm... can't say i'm looking forward to that. the way i'm written in the comics uh... varies. and how my identity is handled is flawed at best and offensive at worst. even ignoring the fact that i'm constantly labeled as having DID when i obviously didn't fit the criteria for it... anyway. feeling very worried about this adaption as someone who's in an osdd system (though minus my old crowd) this time around. -marc spector (marvel comics)
I’m literally down on my fucking knees begging MCU fan theorists to stop making videos about Moon Knight. My DID isn’t “multiple realities converging on one another” or whatever the fuck the new Dr. Strange movie plot is doing. My DID is a legitimate mental illness that I’ve had since the 80’s - Marc Spector
Jake Lockley deserves a cat and that is my favorite thing to come out of the Moon Knight fandom. - Marc Spector
I love showing people Moon Knight (2022) and then when we get to Episode 5, I'm in pain, but so is the person I'm watching with, and their pain is so... haha yes suffer with me. suffer with me. suffer. I'm in agony. - Marc Spector
Hate that people (including the director and the guy that plays me) keep teasing and/or lying about a Season 2 confirmation. It’s so… please stop pulling my leg I can’t handle it. - Marc Spector
Shout out to Jake for never letting me complete the downward spiral of self destruction, and shout out to Steven for keeping us all emotionally stable (to some degree), and shout out to Layla for dealing with all my bullshit while we were married and even after we divorced. I think without you guys I’d have been dead a lot sooner. Also thank you to Crawley for letting Steven talk to you. Thank you to Frenchie for supporting me through my days in the army and supporting me for a time while I was in my mercenary arc. Thank you to Gena for serving me and Jake (but mostly Jake) black coffee and listening to us vent and complain and for calling me an idiot for leaving Layla. Hope you’re all doing well, if you’re even out there somewhere. I know it’s unlikely, but if any of you see this, just know I love you. - Marc Spector
@ recent MCU confessions
Maybe I’m too honest or something but like… I’ve literally never seen that happen, nor have I ever done that myself. My Dr. Strange canon was divergent after Infinity War and has been ever since, and I’ve been upfront about that ever since I realized lol. And then with my more recent kinfirm, Marc Spector from the TV series (perhaps there’s a sprinkle of comic influence too since I feel like Gena, Frenchie, and Crawley are familiar), I have no fucking clue if I’m divergent. The series all felt right, but if I am divergent I wouldn’t lie about it.
I genuinely had no idea people did that. Im so sorry you guys have dealt with stuff like that for so long. Maybe it’s a good thing I generally avoid kin spaces if that’s the case. - Marc Spector / Dr. Strange
