Hand of Doom by Black Sabbath from the album Paranoid
FOUR LADS FROM BIRMINGHAM, UK -- READY TO CHANGE EVERYTHING IN ROCK FOREVERMORE.
PIC INFO: Spotlight on a group portrait of English hard rock and/or heavy metal band, BLACK SABBATH, taken during the band's "Paranoid" era, c. 1970. 📸: Marcus Keef (I think).
I can't speak for anyone else, but when I think of SABBATH, this IS the image that absolutely, instantly comes to mind. This IS pure Sabbathian Sabbath in my eyes now and forevermore. Before the fame, before the coke, the girls, the keyboards, the egos, and all that other stuff that destroys all great band's from within.
