Bauer's favorite subject was Swedish nature. Ever since he was little he had wandered in the dark woods of Småland imagining all the creatures living there. According to his friend he even believed in the existence of all the mythical beings he illustrated.

You know Acid King has me thinking, I remember when I was all over the concept of "occult rock" when I was around 18 or 19 maybe, and I want to know now if it was always called "doom rock" or if the term "doom rock" came about more recently. Anyone know the answer to that?
