It shouldn't have been a surprise that Marcus could provide so many niceties. Not any more at least. The fancy car had been a given. It was something he had talked about. The nice dinner wasn't uncalled for either. Though she hadn't seen the bill, she could assume it was a hefty price. Good food didn't come cheap, and neither did higher quality wine.
And there had certainly been a lot of that.
Back in the car, her mind was still a strange mess of what she probably had plenty of, and what she wanted more of. Beelz rested her hand on Marcus's thigh, surveying her reflection in one of the mirrors. At least she didn't look like a mess.
