“Marcus,” the older man said with a nod as he rose from his chair, stepping to meet the younger man. One arm extended to the younger man, a signal to the embrace he was ready to pull Marcus into. He worried for the president, but had often worried for him long before the crown fell on his head. “How are you? Adelita? ¿La princessa?” The questions fell eagerly. Just as he would like to look after Marcus, he’d like to look after Adelita and Faith. Especially with everything that had happened.  Mauricio held back the stream of questions he had in favor of Marcus answering the ones that had been laid out. The advisor felt a special responsibility to the younger man. He’d become a member the year before Marcus was born, had watched him grow into a man and the leader he was today.
