suffolk: musculature mareep, mostly used for commercial livestock with short, dense wool and an electrical spark that is powerful, but not long-lasting, and they are prone to headbutting.
east friesian: milking mareep with short, curly hair and tiny horns, preferring to live in smaller flocks. their electricity is quite weak and short lasting.
romney: “all-purpose” mareep dense fleece that, unlike east friesians, prefer to live in high density flocks. their electrical charge can be extremely powerful if allowed to build up over long periods of time, making them somewhat common for battles.
texel: the most striking feature of texel mareep are their wide, lean faces and dense musculature, making them ideal for meat production. their electricity is strong, but difficult to focus. like suffolk, they also have headbutting tendencies.
merino: proud mereep with long, soft wool and, consequently, a strong, focused electrical charge, making them the most commonly seen breed used for battle individually and for wool on a commercial scale.
drysdale: these mareep are both used for show and commercial use due to their long, coarse wool. they cannot build up electricity very well, but can send out a consistent stream for long periods of time.
