The way Reed talked about himself, about having the girl, having what he wanted...I KNEW we were in for a world of playboy trouble. And he did not disappoint! As soon as he saw Holland for the “first time” I knew we were really in trouble! (Even thinking about it makes me giddy all over again!) And then, the universe came calling, and Reed needed to get his shit together! With Holland by his side of course. Because who else do you call in the middle of the night? Holland has been in love with Reed most of her life, so who is she to tell him no?! We got that first almost kiss and it made me wonder how many more missed chances we were going to get. And I got the answer pretty quickly, not many! Reed, Holland, Evan, and Pickles became an unstoppable team. (My poor weak heart.) I knew from the second there were rules, Reed would be breaking every single one. Reed wanted a perfect world for Holland and Evan, and he wanted to be the one to make it perfect for them. And he did. He never hesitated to give them the very best, to give them the very best of himself. The new set of rules were my favorite.

My Review

I was absolutely obsessed, reading this as fast as my fingers could turn the pages. Their chemistry was sizzling hot, their banter was to die for, and their secret hookup was a four alarm blazing fire! Their animosity was so much fun to watch because these two had it bad from the get go for each other. This had me smiling, squirming and giggling in my chair, because she wouldn’t give him the time of day until he came to her aide, when she needed help the most. But what Viv doesn’t know is that Reese, sees her like nobody else sees her and he isn’t going to give up on the most attractive girl he has ever seen. These two owned my heart by the time I was done reading their story.

Reese Landry is the All-Star catcher for Orleans U’s baseball team, who is headed to the MLB at the end of this year. He’s the epitome of a drop-dead, gorgeous, powerful athlete. He’s filthy rich and seems to have the world at his fingertips and is naturally good at everything he does. But there is one thing he doesn’t have that he wants and that is Viv!
