It’s almost the end of May and therefore MerMay as well so you know what, unmers your maids. I just remembered that Akore’s specialty is form shifting enchantments, and Caspian would benefit so much from an enchantment like that. Also decided they’re uncle and nephew, Caspian being the son of one of Akore’s sisters and a human(hence why he’s so small compared to Akore and other merm his age). This was tough for me because I hate drawing feet <3

New buddies! No one can stop me. Originally I just drew Velvet but then realized that he had no adult to look after him, so had to find a caretaker for him. Akore is a Maren Warlock who took in Velvet after finding him abandoned by the river he uses to travel. They are more of a mentor and mentee type relationship, but I guess they are also parent/child due to Akore being Velvet’s sole guardian. Velvet is a bit of a loud little turd but still really looks up to Akore and really want to learn magic from him. Akore is a silent type but also is bit egotistical and believes himself to be the most powerful magic user in his area. He can use magic to have legs but usually stays in his water form for ease and comfort. He does have a charm on his hair to always be flowing whether he’s in or out of water lol also he’s huge uwu
