Newly added: a Margiela artisanal jumper from fall 2004, which features a grey trompe-l'oeil of a wrapped scarf printed on the front. It's made of a t-shirt of which the sleeves are kept, but have been elongated to make it into a jumper. A very subtle detail that creates a band around the arm. Added is another Margiela artisanal piece, from fall 2003: a dark blue t-shirt printed with a white number 1 in a texture that will peel off, just like the infamous painted tabis. These are the last artisanal pieces we have in stock. We promised menswear and we're starting it off with a Margiela artisanal 0 10 mens jumper, fused together with a deconstructed waistcoat. You can see the half of the original pinstripe panel with buttons. The other bust is covered with the initial lining. The backbelt has been placed on the left hip and some additional black lining fabrice finishes off trims on the other side. New photography experiment. They said 'make instagram casual again'. Should we do it? Some quick fuzzy pics of Maison Martin Margiela artisanal dark blue t-shirt with printed number 1 — spring 2003 just posted online. This 'bad' photography reminds us of an old article talking about how 70s, 80s and 90s editorials were about inciting a certain mood or feeling. And how in the noughties this switched to clear cut images who were meant to showcase the actual garments. It's true though, some 80s and 90s lookbooks were art prints rather than collection showcases. With Rei pushing the envelope furthest by advertisement not showing any garments. Let us know what you think about this.
