Mari noticing that this is the first time Shirou has a faith (or believe?) in someone is actually the only thing that makes me wonder about Shirou and Michiru's relationship (yeah you can call it platonic or romantic) along with that scene in last episode - you know which scene I'm talking about. Other clues are not significantly important for me.

random hc: despite what it may look like, marie has a soft spot for michiru and they have a more familial friendship. she’ll show up at holidays like the gay wine aunt she secretly is. shirou gets grumpy about it but he lets her do it for michiru’s sake. if anyone hurts her kid she can pull enough strings behind the scenes to make sure the sick bastard gets whats comin’ to em. also shes the one to get michiru really dumb (or “inappropriate” as shirou likes to say) gag gifts

general opinion: marie’s one of my favorite characters in the cast, besides nazuna! i love her design, i love her character, i love her so much but that being said i do take issue with how shes the only main dark-skin character we see, and yet her whole schtick is being the scheming criminal...idk rubs me the wrong way, somewhat, and i do have a post talking about it somewhere on this blog, but i still enjoy her very much and i want more mari itami screentime. oh also her name’s mari to me any other spelling i do not see it. i pretend to not see it...
