In the time he’d been coming to the bar, Adam had subconsciously managed to memorize who was working at what time. Now, in the aftermath of punching a beloved staff member, he gave thanks for that fact. He didn’t want to face Tristan in the near future. He knew he’d have to sometime, but not soon.

Thus, there he was, Thursday night. Tristan wasn’t working, but someone was. Adam had few friends, and he was very weary of the use of the word, but he considered Marian his friend. He did. She was strong and fierce. Didn’t take shit from anyone. It was amusing to see men tying to one-up her every once in a while. At first, he’d thought he should probably intervene, but it soon became clear Marian needed no one to fight her fights for her. Now, they remained comfortably in silence, him drinking, her wiping glasses behind the counter. He decided to strike up conversation. “That guy at the end of the counter has been staring at your breast for the past hour,” he said. “Thought you’d like to know.”

10 - Neck Kiss

This isn’t their first kiss (in fact, Takeo lost count of the number of kisses Marian planted on him), but it’s their first in a location besides the mouth, so it’s with a small bit of hesitation that he leans down to press his lips against such a sensitive area. He places his hands upon Marian’s shoulders and dips his head. It’s just a brush of his lips, at first. Then he firms up his kisses, leaving a trail of them down and around to her throat. He pulls back after a moment and gives her a pleasant grin.

“There you go, Marian, one neck kiss~!”
