Maya + LeBoyfriend. My girl needs more time in the spotlight so I took this chance to also introduce the love of her life (and afterlife).

His name is Osric, he is a mummy type sinner and is the drummer in Maya's band.

Him and Maya were together in life, died together in the same accident, and continue to be together in the afterlife. They are soulmates 🫶🏼💞

Still developing his character a bit but the basics are: He died at 26 years old. Bisexual man. He seems like a very serious, stoic character on first impressions when in reality he is a huge sarcastic jokester, but that side of him only comes out when he feels comfortable around the people he's with. He's taller than Dorian, making him the tallest of my OCs. His nickname is Oz, or Ozzy if Maya is feeling affectionate. He gets mocked a bit about it cuz the nickname is the same as Asmodeus 😆

He will be mostly a background character so you won't see him around much, as the focus of the story is Staticmoth and Vax (I'm saying that but that could change depending on what stories I come up with).

I already love him.

Thinking about how Gaider kind of full on confirmed matric and loghain had a Thing Tm

No, they weren't overt, but he acknowledged all the homoerotic af tension he wrote between them, how it hadn't been on purpose, but when he realized he did it, he purposely kept it in and kept going with it

And like, I feel like that's something important to consider when pondering Everything

From the Loghain/Rowan/Maric dynamic, to how Loghain felt about Cailan

Thinking about the way Loghain's voice cracks when he says "he was Marics boy" in the landsmeet when he's accused of intentionally killing him

Like, if Loghain loved Maric, (which he absolutely did. You don't spend two years draining the countries treasury looking for the man after he went missing, especially since there is an heir, if it's not because the prospect of living without this man is simply too painful to bare)

If loghain loved Maric, Cailan was literally all he had left of the man and he Still retreated at Ostagar

He still left him there. After begging him not to join the front like, Cailan didn't listen.. just like Maric might have. Cailan was shaped by maric, wanted to be maric and live up to that legacy

And that led him to being on the front.

Even after Maric is "dead" his image, the memory of him, haunts their narrative so much I'm going to eat my fucking shoe I cant-

My friend got me into Dragon Age. I have read The lost throne and played Origins, and now I am reading The Calling which is set in between. He has only played the games so I thought I could summarise the plot of The Calling for him. I think I did pretty well.
