Like Eelgrass Rice (Zastera merina), possibly even marine botany & mariculture via hybridizing the sweet potato with a beach morning-glory to produce a variety of hydrophytic sweet potato. I'd call it a "sweetsea potato" or an "oceyam." Just do some interesting things with the concept, ya know?
Can you imagine introducing such things to Gumo & Kazhim? I think they'd respect that there are entire branches of human study dedicated to sustainable farming practices. Especially in the ocean.
