high school!au of kpdh, but it's inspired by the breakfast club... they're all from different cliques but they end up becoming friends after being sent to detention together ! i'd also like to set it in the 2000s. because... i can :) maybe 2003? it feels right.

i think rumi would be part of the preppy popular crowd who hates it but feels like she has no choice, mira would be a stoner punk who needs maryjane to quell her anxiety, zoey would obviously be a skater girl and an absolute GEEK.

jinu would be the typical perfect boy-next-door with a secret tragic past, mystery would be an emo loner, romance would an artsy fartsy theatre kid, abby would clearly be a himbo jock who can't tell when girls are hitting on him and also says some very gay shit to his bros in the locker room, and hot take, but i think baby would be a nerdy outcast and he'd attribute it to him being "too weird" but it's lowkey just that he's kind of an asshole LOL

celine would be the principal AND rumi's adoptive mom which is part of why rumi feels like she has to fit in. bobby would be the teacher that handles detention. gwi-ma would... not be there bc fuck him lol

i'd love there to be a little bit of rivalry between rujinu, like they both want to be valedictorian – it'd also be hilarious if they got crowd prom king and queen but couldn't stand each other so they had to take photos together and fake smile hehehe

i'd also enjoy digging into past beef and unlikely friendships between some of them. maybe baby was popular at one time but lost his popularity cuz of damaged reputation. maybe mira hates abby bc she thinks him complimenting her is just concealed bullying but he's actually being serious.

I didn't have time to post this yesterday but tldr this is defs how me, Torch, and Clancy spent 4/20. Torch does, in fact, not understand how bongs work but Clancy hoarded all the blunts.

Decided to be extremely extra about this. I decided to approach this from a very basic modern verse perspective.

First off, the bag itself would probably be something like this. A leather crossbody messenger bag or something similar, not a backpack but not a purse either. This specific one is the Miles Messenger bag from Fossil. He probably got this and some of the more expensive things he owns (wallet, phone, earbuds, some of his makeup at times) from Boxing Day sales. He would try to save larger purchases for things like Black Friday, Boxing Day, etc. I think he would also be the type to go to the mall very early on boxing day, buy up a few tubes of concealer and face cream and lip balm and SPF for the year when they're on sale, and try to save money that way.

These are the contents of his bag on an average day, but of course there are outliers. He has a variety of skin care products because he is concerned about his appearance. I think he doesn't keep a compact mirror and usually just uses bathroom mirrors and his phone's front camera to quickly check that nothing needs to be touched up. The SPF sun cream, BB cream, concealer, setting spray and blotting papers all stay in his makeup back, but he usually keeps the lip balm easy to find. His hand sanitizer is usually in an inside pocket of his bag, somewhere easy to find.

I think he does smoke cigarettes sometimes, and he's more of a social smoker than anything so he doesn't usually keep cigarettes in his bag. He likes to smoke joints when he can, but usually gets the slim cigarette style prerolls since he feels they're more discreet. He keeps a vape pen for when he doesn't want to deal with the odor of smoking marijuana. When he does smoke cigarettes or joints he will use hand sanitizer and body spray after to try and minimize the scent. He also likes to refresh his body spray if he's out for a long period of time.

He uses the refillable Clipper lighter because he likes the design, but also because the removeable flint serves multiple purposes. When you pull the flint out, the bottom is just a plastic stick that can be used to pack down joints and cigarettes, so he prefers that style of lighter.

He will change the scent of his hand sanitizer or body spray, or the brand of lip balm or makeup from time to time, but this felt like a good array of the types of things you'd find inside his bag.
