Ugh, I love bad4 And I just wanted to draw something for fun challenge in Mari Madness discord lol (And special thanks to everyone who likes, comments and reblogs my silly stuff, love ya)

This months challenge on the Marikyuun discord was to create a magazine cover using a character we like. I was heavily inspired by Harper's Bazaar and used my desk doll, Shanelle Onyx, as my muse.

Tried to redesign meta knight if he was a boss in some kind of dark souls like world. I think it turned all right. The long arms are of putting but also very silly, i think it works. One of the hardest parts was figuring out what to do with the body. Meta knight is just a ball, and makeing him just a human(noid) would be lazy for what the goal was. So i ended up making everything but the body/head(and the legs) bigger. I had to give him a tail(?) to attach the wings properly together, the way the original design did it wouldn't work for a dark souls inspired design. I considered making the arms and wings connected but ended up making the independent. I like to think they aren't actually his arms but actually some kind of necromancy hehe. Anyway
