This is one of my favorite cards in the deck. I don’t remember *not* feeling guilt; it’s been with me since I was a little girl. I suppose it was inherited, just like so many of my problematic emotions and core beliefs. We all have them. Our first instinct would be to annihilate the pain through denial, but there is so much power to gain in the process of acknowledging, identifying, reclaiming the roots of that pain. It’s tedious work but when it’s done, we hurt less. Why? Because we no longer resist, we no longer argue with what is, or what has been, or what could be.
