"Hey, get back here!" You shouted as you were running after the chicken throughout under the sunflower field.
You and your family had been running the barn for as long as you can remember. And today, you were left by yourself doing some labor oblivious to the outbreak in the outskirts of San Romero.
The day started out with you getting to work with the crops and planting the veggies & fruits. After that, you went to check the hen house and had only find that one chick was missing.
And that is where the whole chicken chase started.
After running a few hours, you ended up finding yourself lost in the flower field and was now under the tall sunflowers.
"Damn it..." You cussed under breath. "....Lost em'."
You put a hand on your forehead as fall on your knees as you sigh in exhaustion. "...Maybe if I just sit here and do nothing, it might come back around."
You lay on your back as you thought it was the best idea & waited until the chicken comes around.
A few hours pass, and the chicken hadn't came back yet. Laziness took over you & you nearly fell asleep when you suddenly noticed some clear balls floating above you.
"...hm? Are those bubbles?" You said, taking a closer look.
Curiosity got the better of you as you suddenly found yourself following them as they led to where the cows were held.
"Huh...? Where did those bubbles even came from?" Looking around, you can see nothing but the cows, roaming around while mooing, in a rather strange way. "...are cows supposed to sound like that?"
What you fail to notice was how the look on their bodies were rotting away from they're skin.
However, you were more focused on where those bubbles came from, and the runaway chicken.
"I swear, if it's one of those jerks trying to pull a prank ag-" You began to say before you heard a strange voice that came out of nowhere.
"...Cute silly little child..."
You spun around as you felt it from behind you, but there was no one there. "What the...?"
You almost felt yourself flinching when you felt a cold hand touching your exposed back. You turned your face to that direction it came from, still, nobody.
"Who's there?!" You asked, trying to not show any fear.
You're eyes fluttered around the open fields as you try to find the culprit that was messing with you. Just as you were thinking about running back to the house next to the barn, your eyes had finally rested on a big tree where you spotted someone sitting on a big branch.
Looking closer, you recognize that person as a young woman, dressed in a hippie like fashion, playing with what looks like a sitar.
As you scan closer, you notice something round and white in between her crossed legs. It wasn't hard to tell that it was exactly the same chicken you were chasing earlier this day.
"Hay, ma'am?" You asked directly to her, who doesn't seem to notice you. You just continue. "Ma'am...? I'm sure how you get in here, but I can see that you have no problem being up there?"
As you kept trying to talk to her, you notice the tune that the strongly silent woman was playing at. It sounded so.... incredible calm.... so hypnotic....
"...Um...I think you have something there that belongs to the hen house... do you mind if..." You tried to say, but ended up finding yourself to say anything as you started to go under the music control.
Your arms and legs started getting heavy as your vision started to get blurry. The only thing that was keeping awake halfway was the sounds and music surrounding your space.
While you were slowly going into a deep slumber, the woman the branch finally noticed you & smiles at you.
"...Open your heart & let my music guide you...." She said, calmly cheerfully. "...into a world of everlasting peace..."
