Fuffy vs Breyton 🤪

I love both of these dynamics so much!!! God. I'm going to have to go with Fuffy > Breyton. While I do think there is a lot of unintentional romance between Breyton (and they are my favorite female dynamic of OTH), Fuffy is more complex, layered and compelling. The stakes are also much higher, and I think that Fuffy relates and connects on levels that none of the characters in OTH could really understand, given how different the worlds are. I could probably write essays on both of these dynamics, but I think there's more evidence in the text to support the romantic and sexual tension between Fuffy. It feels more deliberate, even if some of the writers claim it wasn't.

Ryan x Marissa vs Peyton x Lucas

Ryan/Marissa < Peyton/Lucas. I feel like there's probably some very good parallels between these two dynamics. They're both loaded with angst, pining, and both have forbidden elements to them. I grew up watching One Tree Hill, so I hold Leyton nearer to my heart. Also, Leyton gets the endgame, they have a real relationship that lasts. The writers were too concerned with fucking over Marissa to give her a single ounce of lasting happiness with Ryan.
