We are white. We are scared. We don't want this.
I'm thinking about the people who have lives to live and families to live for. Even those who live alone. Tulsa is our neighbor, and seeing a place that we nearly grew up around; where we went to church for a good few years.
Please don't let the color of this body's skin affect your view on us. We have anxiety over relations because of history. We completely support the well-being of people of all shades of skin. We are all human beings, and racism is idiotic. We never liked jokes that demean another group of people.
My problem with tumblr is the prejudice against police. They are people, too.
Spot the difference.
"All black people are bad because some of them are violent."
"All police are bad because some of them are violent."
It's human psychology at this point. Then, there are the real "bad people." The agitators. These people made the Tulsa protest violent. Bricks are being thrown in beloved local business. We were scared initially because the worst if it is full of childhood memories. Currently, we don't know who started the mess since it was supposed to be a peaceful protest.
I don't want a revered race riot. Be safe, lovelies.
