[6:17 P.M.] you're in your apartment, nextdoor to mark, when you hear him practicing guitar again. you secretly listen every time you hear the soft tunes of his guitar. since the walls are thin, you also hope he doesn't hear you singing in the shower everyday. it's embarrassing but that doesn't make you stop. mark figures out you listen to him in secret one day when he's about to take a shower and he hears you humming his guitar melody from earlier in the day. (mark also hears you singing in the shower and he imagines you two in a duo together but at the same time is suppressing the loudest laughter ever.)
Hey, if you're taking requests, could you maybe do a blurb, scenario, or something where Mark and reader are trying to be like a romantic couple, but it ends up going wrong all the time. Like you guys want to have shower sex, but you start arguing about the water temp, or maybe y'all are making out, he bites your lip and it starts bleeding a lot. Maybe he bought you a really pretty necklace and then breaks it while he's putting it on you. I just think it would be funny, but it's fine if you cant
“Mark…” you said, the question mark above your head going unnoticed by him.
Mark was thrusting his hips forward in a dance, pursing his lips in a way he thought was sexy, and began removing his shirt. You hid your face behind a pillow in embarrassment, poking your eyes over the top because you didn’t want to miss the show. When he got down to the last button of his shirt and revealed his abs, Mark did a twirl and tried getting down to hump the floor. He went down like a sack of potatoes, his body disappearing out of view.
“Ow.” Mark said.
You threw the pillow aside and crawled to the end of the bed to see Mark sprawled across the floor.
“Are you okay?” you asked. “Are you hurt?”
Mark groaned, “Only my pride.”
He was always doing silly things like that to impress you. You remembered when he came home once, rushing to you so that he could kiss you passionately, his plans involving making love in the entryway. Instead, Mark’s face collided hard with yours hard, and he ended up with a bloody nose.
“I’ll help you up.” you said, holding out your hands.
———————–
You walked through the door tired, the only thing keeping you moving was the thought of finally seeing Mark.
“You’re home,” Mark said. “So early.”
“I got a ride home,” you said. “What’s that smell?”
Mark was at the stove with his back turned to you. You could see how tense his muscles were as he concentrated. You looked around and saw his romantic setup: candles and fresh flowers, pretty napkins folded into a heart shape.
“This is take two,” he said. “Or three. Or four. I wanted to surprised you.”
As you came closer, you could see the effort Mark had made while trying to cook you dinner. The kitchen was a mess, slimy egg remnants running down your cabinets. The smell in the air wasn’t pleasant, but you breathed it in as if it were.
“I am surprised,” you said. You came behind him and hugged him, holding him against your body. “Thank you, baby.”
“ I was thinking I should try dancing for you again tonight,” he said. “You know, show my moves in the right way.”
You laughed. “Exactly what I was thinking, but why wait?”
You let go of him and backed up. You tugged your shirt over your head and threw it aside. Mark hesitated at the stove, his attention going from his food and back to you.
“It’s done anyway.” he said, turning around to kiss you.
Mark smiled into the kiss, pulling away to look at you before he went in for another. You pulled him closer by his waist, backing your ass up against the table as you did.
Mark pulled away. His eyes widened, mouth opening in fear. “Fire!”
“What?”“
You turned around the same time Mark ran around you. The candle had fallen onto the table and was burning the edge of the heart shaped napkin. Mark snuffed the fire out but not before the smoke set off the sensitive fire detector.
You covered your ears to protect yourself from the piercing sound. “Turn it off!”
Running around like a madman, Mark didn’t know what to do. Panicking, you picked up the nearest photo frame and hurled it at the alarm, knocking the top of it off . The alarm stopped and you uncovered your ears.
can i request something soft with mark where you guys do a whole night time routine taking a bath together and doing skin care routine on each other? and you can end it with smut or whatever you feel like. you can write it whenever you want if you do write it
You had seen him naked many times, but Mark still felt shy around you. Under the fluorescent lighting, he covered his parts with his hands. You ran the bath water, breaking up the bath melt in your hand until the water turned pink, its swirling foam glittery and bright. It wasn’t until you disrobed that Mark began to feel more comfortable in his own skin. He removed his hand and coughed into it, his eyes unable to keep away from your body. You stepped into the bath water and sat down, your ass sliding down the porcelain as the water moved back and forth. Mark watched you bring your knees to your chest, holding them tightly against you to make room for him. He stepped into the tub and faced you, his back hitting the metal faucet.
“Oh, it’s cold.” he said.
You laughed when he arched his back and moved away from the faucet. A shiver went through his body, though the water was warm. Mark had moved up so much that your feet were touching, but neither of you seemed to mind.
“Tell me about your day,” you said. “I want to know everything, even what you ate for lunch.”
Being there with him made the days stress just fall away. Listening to Mark open up about trivial things, his eyes bugging out of his head, his hands gesturing animatedly, filled you up with a lot of content. You told him to turn around so that you could wash his back for him. Though he felt weird about you being the one to pamper him, he obliged. You washed the water over his skin before placing a kiss at the base of his neck. Mark was silent as you washed him, but you could hear the way he breathed air out of his nose whenever your hands got too close to his sides. He tried to hide the fact that he was ticklish, but you knew all of his weaknesses well.
After you were both clean, and the plug to the tub was pulled, Mark wrapped you up in the fluffiest towel. There wasn’t any hiding his body, the way the water beads got caught in his abs, or how muscular his ass looked from the way he stood. Mark pulled you closer and hugged you, his hands rubbing your back over the towel. When he was done, he wrapped another towel around his waist, went over to the sink, took out both of your toothbrushes, and squeezed a line out over the bristles. You stood shoulder-to-shoulder, brushing your teeth, and smiling at each other in the mirror.
“I bought these face masks in America,” Mark said. “I don’t know if you want to try them with me.”
“Okay.”
You rested your head on his shoulder and continued brushing your teeth. After spitting and rinsing, Mark pecked you on the mouth and declared that your breath was minty fresh. Gradually, you wandered into the bedroom, neither of you rushing to get dressed, both loving the way the air hit your bodies to make your skin cooler. Mark rooted around in his suitcase for the masks, his body bent over, his ass moving along to a beat only he could hear. You sat on the edge of your bed and waited for him, amusement on your face when Mark brought out the masks and held them up like he was proud of himself.
“What do you think?” he asked.
“I like coconut scent.”
Mark sat next to you and opened a face mask. He smelled the inside of the package and bit his bottom lip in concentration. He pulled the sheet from the pack and shouted as liquid dripped all down his leg. You laughed, which caused him to lighten up more.
“This seriously always happens to me.” Mark said.
You took the mask from him, opened it up and told him to close his eyes. Mark shifted on the bed so that he was fully facing you and closed his eyes. When he felt the wetness of the mask against his skin, he couldn’t stop laughing.
“Stop laughing,” you said. “You’re going to make it all wrinkled, Mark Lee.”
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
Mark tried to keep a straight face but his cheekbones were rising again. You did the best you could, using your finger to smooth it over his forehead and cheeks. He opened his eyes when you were done and looked for your expression to tell him all he needed to know. You couldn’t stop smiling at how ridiculous he looked.
“I look handsome, huh?” he asked.
“You always look handsome.”
You leaned over and kissed him through the hole in the mask; You could feel the wetness of it on your face but you didn’t mind. Mark repeated the process of opening another mask and pulling it out. You were much calmer than him as he worked the mask over your skin.
“Worlds cutest couple.” Mark said when he was finished.
Would you write something about a tickle fight with mark? i really miss his laugh :((
“Stop!” Mark yelled.
You were on one side of your bed, and he was on the other. Mark’s face was lit up with laughter, his eyes sparkling, his cheeks full. He pressed both of his hands into the mattress as if preparing himself for an ambush. You put your hand on your hips and gave him your best innocent smile.
“Do you give up?” you asked.
“Never.”
You moved around the bed and Mark braced himself to jump over it. He was faster than you, but the game was all in good fun. Mark both loved and hated being tickled. You loved brushing your fingers up and down his sides in the soft hours of sunlight, but there was something so beautiful about hearing that laugh of his at all times of the day. You would almost say it brought out the hardness in you, the need to compete and win against him.
“Make your move.” Mark said. “Give me everything you got, baby.”
You made it to the end of the bed. He knew that if he ran now, you would run to meet him at the other side. Mark stood up on the bed and scaled his hands against the ceiling. You saw a little sliver of skin peeking out where his shirt and risen.
“Are you getting into position?” you asked.
Mark rubbed his lips together and bolted for the bedroom door. You felt like you were moving in slow motion when you moved. He ran out of the bedroom door and you followed behind. When you walked over the threshold, Mark caught you, wrapped his arms around your body so that your arms were pinned to your side, and swung you around.
“Okay,” you said. “You win.”
“What do I win?” he asked.
“I won’t tickle you anymore.”
Mark kept his lips by your ear. He nibbled on your lobe a little before telling you that you were a liar. After he released you, the first thing you did was try to tickle him again. Mark let you have your fun, bringing you down to the floor so that he could play fight with you.
Id love a little blurb where Mark comes home to you and the first thing he does is hold you in the most cuddly fashion putting his head in your neck and being all soft... and then that turns romantic real fast... And maybe gets a little steamy 😏?? Up to you tho
One week in Los Angeles, a few days at the company preparing for tour, and Mark said he would be back to you. You wouldn’t even feel the time apart, he had promised. But Mark was wrong. You felt his absence every single day. Still, you would wait for him no matter how you felt; It was an easy choice when it came to Mark. You knew what idol life was like, and you were strong enough to handle it for the love of your life.
“How is my favorite girl?” Mark said.
You hadn’t noticed him walk through the door. Dropping the spatula in your hand, you ran for him. The flowers in his hand were crushed up against his chest as you hugged him. You both stood for a few minutes, just holding each other. Mark wrapped his arms tighter around you and sunk his head down into your neck.
“I missed you.” you whispered.
“I’m here now,” he said. “It’s been a long two weeks. You have no idea how happy I felt walking through the door and seeing you standing there.”
You pulled away from Mark to get a better look at him. He looked tired, but, like always, Mark powered on through. His eyes sparkled like stars. You couldn’t stop touching him, as if he would disappear if you let him go. Mark loved the attention and couldn’t stop laughing at how excited you were. You took the flowers from him and smelled them.
“Baby,” he began, “ What’s that smell?”
Your eyes widened. Knowing you well, Mark took the flowers from your hands before you took off across the room. He followed behind, definitely missing every part of home, even the more interesting bits. When you picked up the spatula and tried scraping burnt eggs from the bottom of a pan, Mark’s heart felt like it would burst in his chest. He went over and turned off the stove for you.
“One day I’ll get that right.” you said.
“Nah,” Mark said. “I like your burnt eggs.”
You went back into his arms and kissed him. The spatula clattered back down to the floor, but you didn’t care. Mark’s hands were all over your body, untying the apron from around your waist, and tingling the back of your neck. You missed the way he held you, how his skin felt against yours, and how every touch felt a little too excited . He picked you up and placed you on the edge of the kitchen counter. You knew he wouldn’t have too much time, but you would make the best of whatever you had together.
can you please write something about mark helping his drunk s/o take off her makeup before bed? i find it cute when guys do that! take however long you need💚
When you’re drunk, you say his name a thousand times because you like the way it sounds in your mouth: Mark Lee. Mark Lee. Mark Lee. Mark Lee. Mark Lee. Mark Lee. Markleemarkleemarkleemarkleemarklee.
“Mark Lee, I think you’re pretty.” you said.
Mark shakes his head and rummages around in your medicine cabinet. You sit down on top of your toilet, not bothering to check whether the lid is closed. You lean back and rest your elbow on the edge of the sink. You only ever notice how drunk you are when you’re in the bathroom. There is something about the way your eyes try to count the tiles on the floor, how the world sounds so muffled outside of the room. All of your thoughts come back to you at once.
“Mark Lee, what are you doing?” you asked.
Mark kneels on the floor and looks in the cabinet under your sink. He pulls two cotton pads from a package and stands back up. You notice two things: the bottle of make-up remover on your counter, and the gentle smile he’s wearing on his face. He looks dog-tired, but his eyes are focused on you.
“Lean your head back.” he said.
You lean your head back all the way. You’re aware of how heavy your head feels on your shoulders. You grip the sides of Mark’s waist so you don’t tumble over. When you right yourself, he’s laughing and biting his bottom lip.
“How much did you drink?” he asked.
“How much is too much? I drank that much.”
You close your eyes for a second. When you open one eye, Mark is watching you curiously. Quietly, he squeezes some of your make-up remover onto a cotton pad. Normally, you have a whole skin routine, but Mark won’t know the steps.
“You’re a nice boy, Mark Lee. A nice, Canadian B-O-Y.” you said.
He laughs, “Thank you, I think. Keep still. I don’t want to get this in your eyes.”
You stay still as Mark starts wiping the make-up from your cheeks and forehead. He handles the cotton pad clumsily, wiping your face like he is scrubbing leftover food from a plate. You don’t mind. All you can think about is Mark touching you, his focus solely on getting you ready for bed.
“Close your eyes.” he said.
There is a sensual feeling to the act. You close your eyes and Mark drags a new cotton pad across your eyelid, removing dirt and old eye product. He takes your chin in his hands and holds you in place, his face just inches from yours as he looks for any missed make-up.
“You should really wear your glasses at all times. You blind bitch, you’re so cute.” you whispered.
Mark stands back and admires his work. You blink slowly, bringing your hands up to your face to feel your skin. You feel soft, your skin a little sore from Mark’s heavy hand.
“Ready for bed?” he asked.
You smiled. “Carry me.”
Mark rolls his eyes. Even though he looks like he is going to say no, he still does it. You throw your arm over his shoulder and let him lift you from the toilet. Before walking, you peck his cheek and lay your head on his shoulder.

Fluff. Idol! Mark. Playing in the rain.
He kissed every one of your fingers before tucking your hand into the pocket of his hoodie. You sat on the dock of the lake, your toes skimming the surface. Mark sat by your side, his thigh touching yours, and his eyes watching the trees swaying in the breeze.
“I wouldn’t mind building a house and living here.” he said.
You had rented a cabin just to get away from the city life. It was only for a few days so he could regroup. He had been working hard touring, promoting his latest album, and all while writing some solo stuff. After falling asleep during a movie date with you, you suggested traveling on his week off. You didn’t like seeing him overworked and so tired all of the time. Promising a week of swimming in a lake during the day and sitting by a fire at night didn’t take much to convince him.
“But I would never see you again.” you said.
“You would be with me.”
Whenever Mark talked about your future together, it made you feel happy. Dating as an idol wasn’t easy, but you managed to sneak away every now and then. There were times when you didn’t know if Mark believed the relationship with you was worth all of the extra work. He was quiet and observant, keeping his feelings inside unless you asked him about them. Hearing him talk about how good things can be, how far into the future he planned to be with you, made you fall even more in love.
“I’d love that.” you said.
You looked across the water. You could see the little raindrops breaking the surface. The skies were grey, clouds rolling in, but the aesthetic was pretty. The trees were so green that you remarked how it looked like a painting. Both of you watched a small animal stop at the edge of the lake and take a drink of water.
“Do you think he knows we’re watching him?” Mark asked. “Like, he’s just like ‘Hey, what are those dudes doing?’”
“No, Mark.”
Mark laughed. The way he blurted out his inner thoughts without thinking about them first was something you enjoyed about him.
“I’m sorry.” he apologized.
You squeezed his hand inside his hoodie and laid your head against his shoulder. Mark rested his head on top of yours and closed his eyes. The moment it started to rain, both of you looked up at the sky at the same time. Mark opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue to catch the drops of water. You started to get up, but Mark pulled you back down.
“We’ll get wet.” you said.
“That’s the point.”
The rain picked up. Your hair was sticking to the side of your head, little beads of rain running down your cheek. Mark let go of your hand and leaned back on his arms. He lay back on the dock and stared up at the sky. You laid down beside him and looked over at him. He was laughing and holding his hands up as if he could touch every individual raindrop. Gradually, the rain became heavier, and you both got soaked from head-to-toe.
“We should go inside.” you said.
You could barely hear him over the sheets of rain, but he got up and helped you to your feet. He started jumping up and down and screaming up at the sky. The way he danced made you break out into laughter. With all of his energy, Mark picked you up into his arms and carried you off the dock, your arms wrapped around his shoulders, and your head tucked into his neck. When you reached the shelter of the cabin, Mark set you down on the little porch. He shook out his hair, like a dog.
“I feel so good, “ he said. “ I loved that. I feel so free.”
You didn’t get to see that side of Mark often. He was usually busy with his job, and during his time off, he liked to let loose in other ways when he was with you.
“I loved it, too. This is perfect.”
Mark kissed you on the lips. When he noticed your lips were quivering, he went inside and grabbed you both towels. He placed it around your head and used the ends of the towel to pull you in for another kiss.
“We should change clothes,” he said. “Maybe make some dinner and hang out.”
Your whole body felt ice cold, so you definitely weren’t going to disagree. After drying off as much as you could, you both went inside. The cabin was warm, the heat from the little fire making you feel like an ice cube that was melting. You towel dried your hair as much as you could, and hung the towel on the back of a chair. Mark followed after you, grabbed you from behind and pulled you back against his body. His hands were on the hem of your shirt, peeling it up your front and over your head. His hot mouth found your neck, his tongue tickling your skin.
“I feel soggy.” you said.
“But you look beautiful.”
You turned to face him. He moved all the hair out of your face and placed a dramatic kiss on your forehead before going to grab clean clothes. You smiled to yourself and watched as he rooted around in the wardrobe, pulling out things left and right. He brought out two pairs of pajamas that both belonged to him.
“For you and for me, “ he said. “Nice and comfortable, and more importantly, dry.”
Mark stripped his wet shirt off, unbuttoned his pants and stepped out of them. Seeing him standing around in his boxers made you want his body as close to yours as possible. You slid off your shorts and underwear. Even though he had seen it all before, out of respect, Mark didn’t look at you. You ditched your bra and pulled on his t-shirt, a pair of your underwear and his blue plaid pajama pants. You jumped on the bed and hid your face in your hands so Mark could get properly dressed. When he was done, he jumped on the bed too and took your hands away from your face. He kissed your mouth softly, moaning as he pulled away.
“What do you want to do now?” you asked.
“I can think of a few things.”
You stroked his cheek and played with his hair. Looking at him made you feel a lot of emotions all at once. Mark laid on his back and looked up at the ceiling, no doubt feeling those emotions, too. You went on your side and tucked yourself into his body. The rain had slowed, but the sound of the rain on the window pane seemed loud. You felt so relaxed that your eyelids became heavy. Mark gave you one last kiss before closing his eyes and drifting off.
You sat next to him on your own swing, your head resting against the chain, and looked over at him. He was swinging like a little kid, kicking his feet out to go faster. The playground was empty, and the sun was going down. Fireflies were everywhere, and little bunnies played at the edge of the park.
“Me, or the swing?” you asked.
Mark laughed. He put his feet on the ground to slow himself down. When he came to a full-stop, he took your hand and kissed the top of it. You pulled it away and smiled to yourself.
“What has gotten into you, Mark Lee?” you asked.
Mark started swinging side-to-side. His swing bumped into yours lightly causing you to shift. You held onto the chains and leaned back so far that your hair touched the wood chips on the ground. Mark followed you. His hat fell off of his head and onto the ground. You picked it up and placed it on your head before straightening yourself out.
“Race you to the slide?” he asked.
Before you could agree, you were on your feet and tearing through the grass. You could hear Mark pumping his legs behind you. He was taking it easy on you by not running as fast as he could so that you would win. When you reached the playground set, you jumped onto the little twin slide and started walking up it. Mark was beside you on the other slide, making sure you wouldn’t get hurt.
“That’s cheating.” he said.
“And?”
You made it to the top and laid across the black metal platform, your feet dangling down the slide. Again, Mark followed you. You stared up at the darkening sky in silence until Mark coughed dramatically.
“The moon,” he said. “She’s pretty.”
You moved your head to the side to look at him, and he did the same. Your lips were only inches apart. His eyes kept staring at your cupid's bow, but all you could focus on was the firefly flying close to his head. You stuck your hand out, and it landed on your finger, its little feet tickling your skin.
“Whoa.” Mark said.
“It likes me.” you said.
“Me and the bug have that in common.”
The firefly spread its wings and thought better of it. It kept walking across your hand and down your arm. It felt like you were caught in a dream that you didn’t want to wake up from.
“I love nights like this,” you said. “I’m reminded of life, of how beautiful everything is.”
The firefly flew away. You dropped your arm down beside you and felt Mark’s fingers tap dancing across your wrist.
“It’s so quiet.” Mark whispered.
There was the distant sound of cars from the highway but not much else. You used to come here to get away from everything. The old slides were covered in your name written in thick, black marker surrounded by love hearts. It made you feel happy to bring Mark to a place you felt so comfortable in.
“Let’s slide.” you said.
You leaned up and slid your butt to the beginning of the slide. Looking at your shoes disappearing down the dark tunnel made you feel excited.
“Go down there and catch me.” you told Mark.
Mark slid down the twin slide and walked around to the main slide. You couldn’t see him but you could hear his shoes crunching the wood chips.
“Okay,” he said. “I’m here.”
You knew this slide was fast. As a kid, it thrilled you to whiz down it. Maybe you scraped an elbow on the way down, but it was all worth it. You beat your shoes on the plastic and told Mark to be prepared.
“Here I come.” you said.
You pushed yourself forward and let go. You went down so fast that you screamed bloody murder until Mark caught you, stopping you before you could slide off and onto the ground. You broke out into laughter, grabbing onto his forearms for support.
“I want to go again,” you said. “But you go first, and I will wait here for you.”
Mark didn’t love doing thrilling things. He always kept it safe, kept it cool. He walked up the steps with a nervous smile on his face. When he made it to the top, he looked down at you and all around the neighborhood.
“Are you scared?” you asked.
“I’m not scared.”
You smiled and resisted the urge to taunt him. You watched as he sat down on the metal. You imagined him dangling his feet inside and having thoughts of awaiting monsters.
“Okayyyyy,” he said. “I’m ready. I’m coming down.”
Mark slid down, and you caught him by his shoulders. Before he realized what had happened, you leaned down and kissed him on the lips.
“Mark Lee,” you said. “ I’ve also wanted this for a long time.”
