It’s as good as a documentary in this sport can be, warts and all. It’s personal, visceral, and all the things you want (and don’t want) to see about this big dumb sport we love and the people who partake in it.

"The Smashing Machine" is another winner for Benny Safdie, one of the best pictures that I have seen this year. Emily Blunt delivers another great performance The Rock gives the best performance of his career. Highly recommended.
