Let The Good Times Roll: A Worried Fan's Stupid SPN PSA.

We've had 13 great seasons. And I mean great seasons. Yes, like every other show, it's had it's faults. It's ups, it's downs, continuity errors and such. But nobody can deny, that over these many seasons, we've had a good run. We've grown with Dean, Sam, and Cas.

We've suffered through Dean's doubts, demons, alcoholism, and repression. We've watched Sam come to terms with who he is and who the universe meant him to be. And we can't forget about Cas's struggle, trying to break the good, mindless soldier mold he'd been forced into for eons.

But we're running out of breath. It's time to go home and end this morning run. We've pushed just the right amount. We've skipped, tripped, jumped, stumbled and completely fallen onto the pavement during this journey. And it's about time.

So here's how we should and shouldn't make this journey back home.

Bring Gabriel back. That son of a bitch deserves it after all that he went through. And at the end of the day, he's not hurting anybody by existing.

Don't bring Luci back. Don't get me wrong. I love Lucifer. To bits. He's one of my favorite characters, definitely my favorite villain, and he honestly deserved better. And unlike many, I actually enjoyed his character from season 5 all the way to 13. But enoughs enough. His story's been told. Although I don't exactly like the way they ended his narrative, it's done. It's happened, now leave it. I like Nick, but don't do this "Lucifer will rise again" shit. Please.

Don't let Sam die alone. Give the moose a fucking break. He deserves it. And he needs to be less dependent on Dean. Jesus, please. There are so many good options.

Don't kill Jack. The kids had it rough since day one. And he deserves a full chance at life. Not to mention how hard it would be on Dean, Cas, and Sam. Killing off yet another character won't do the show any good.

And finally, let this be the last apocalypse, big bad, whatever. Let them rest. Let somebody else take over. They don't even have to fully retire. They could expand the whole men of letters thing they're doing, and turn it into like a corporation. A business, if you will. They could be in charge of recruiting, taking care of, and informing hunters with the knowledge they have gathered over the years. While they're at it, why not make those lore books easier to navigate, alphabetize and group monsters. Less paragraphs, more bullet points. That would save a lot of time and a lot of lives.

Yeah we've been running a long time. And I know they say it's not about the destination, but the journey. But the destination is what drives the journey. And we've been running for so long, our knees are beginning to buckle and our vision is starting to blur. And now we're becoming so focused on maintaining this pace, we might just run right past the destination. Then when we're too weak and more than desperate to find the destination that we've passed a long time ago, we'll keep running. Keep searching. We won't find it. And then we'll collapse. So let's stop running, before it's too late.
