I also missed this, apologies! Yeah, it’s been announced that they’re doing an FDIA storyline, starting with him spiking the barbecue next week with Beth’s anxiety pills, then leading to him controlling Caleb’s health to keep him with him.

As for Nancy, it’s possible that this could worsen her MS, since we know Nancy’s going to have a health scars!

So yet again Gemma prevents Dodger getting justice. Her vendetta against Warren is affecting Dodger too. Sooner she's gone the better

Yeah, Gemma is definitely the common denominator here. It will be so satisfying if Dodger gets to take her down (I’m still hoping Donny won’t betray him for her, but I’m not convinced 😭)

I have a question about when jeremy showed up in hollyoaks. I didn't watch properly then, just read spoilers, but was wondering how his behaviour was initially? Ive seen a few snippets on youtube and was curious about others opinions of him

I don’t honestly remember too much beyond not trusting him. He came into it being very nice from what I can remember, saying he just wanted his family, and that Patrick was evil to him growing up. I started believing him and thought Martha was the evil one (she fully locked him in the allotments shed and was like drugging him, I think? and he was crying and everything, and they very much made it seem like martha was abusing him or something along those lines, but then they flipped it and showed us that Jez was the one controlling Martha. there was a lot going on 😭). But yeah, I didn’t really like him much — I liked where I thought they were going with him, making out that Jez was actually the “nice twin” but of course he was a serial killer 💀

My eyes are deeply offended by those scenes, it should have come with a warning!

Imo Cleo doesnt love Dodger she just wants the life hes able to give Theresa.

Dodger isn't "in love" with Theresa. Hes still looking sad and lonely, depressed even. (As has been said before this feels like a deliberate acting choice and obviously they know where the storyline is headed, let's just hope that for once the fandom is right)

I dont even know what Theresa wants any more. Is it Dodger or what he can give to her (expensive holiday, new house). Shes become very materialistic and kinda selfish

Genuinely, I'm glad that I woke up to an ask about it so that I was semi-prepared, but it was worse than I was expecting 😭

It really doesn't feel like Dodger to me. Maybe it's part of how different he is now, maybe it's the self-destructing thing, or maybe he's just out of character. On the one hand, I appreciate that Danny (and presumably the writers?) have made the choice for Dodger to look exhausted and miserable the entire time, because I don't think I could handle it if he was happily sneaking around behind Theresa's back and lying to her while being all loved-up with Cleo (what we're getting is bad enough). On the other hand, every other affair usually has the cheater noticeably happier with the other person, making it easier for the audience to root for them. The fact that he hasn't properly smiled one in his scenes with Cleo recently (to my knowledge, I may be misremembering) is... interesting. Could just be guilt, but again, even when characters feel bad about their affairs, 9 times out of 10 they still have a couple of moments where you can tell they're enjoying being with the other person. I definitely think it can't just be an acting choice on Danny's part, because if the writers and Hannah Cheers wanted us to like this and root for it, they would have it in the script for him to play it differently.

I do think both Cleo and Dodger want the idea of Dodger and that perfect little life with him. It's pretty clear that Dodger doesn't even know what he wants. It really is confusing, and yeah, it's not fun at all. Cleo looked at least a bit happy afterwards, so she's enjoying herself, like we were told she would be, but seriously, what is the angle with Dodger? I just want him to tell Theresa and ends things with her already, the fact that it's an affair and not just two people getting together isn't sexy or romantic, it's just gross and infuriating.

(I'm happy we got more shirtless Dodger, at least 😭)

Just been watching the road trip episodes when Amy Leanne and Michaela were doing bts recording of Daytona Lights

Dennis (the cheeky devil) conned Ally Dodger and Liberty into going on a road trip unbeknown to them that they were going same place, Sheffield!

Laughed, cringed and some really cute moments.

Its what is missing from hollyoaks atm imo. Too many serious storylines and not enough humour. Life isn't serious all the time

Ohh, I love those episodes! Aside from everyone having a go at Dodger over a drunken kiss with a mate like come on 😭

Seriously though, the humour around those episodes was really fun, and I love road trips episode. I love that one episode that's a full roadtrip with Dennis, Scott, Barney, and Leanne, and it's narrated by Dennis lmao

Is it just me who was disappointed in the lack of funeral scenes for Diane?

It just felt really odd. Focus on the Keanes again and Charlie

I was preparing myself for a tear jerker and it was the complete opposite

I haven’t yet watched today’s episode but that is disappointing, I was expecting today to be all about the funeral :(
