hollyoaks 2026 apparently
ste: i can forgive sex trafficking but i draw the line at gender fluidity
Dillon really isn't going to forgive Lucas any time soon!
Lucas/Dillon/Ste/Rex
I love Ste and Rex together. I think Rex brings out a different side to Ste. flirty, fun etc. cause Ste just seemed miserable in other relationships tbh.
I liked Ste in his other relationships. Probably because Kieron is just entertaining as an actor, and I think he delivers great chemistry with his onscreen partners.
But yeah, I do think Rex brings out a certain fun and flirty side of Ste that I haven't seen in a while.
I'm not saying this is ppl on here, but this has been a patterned line of thinking-
Literally, fuck you. If you don't see how much of a double standard this is and how hypocritical this is, idk wtf is wrong with your IQ and inner bias narrative.
LUCAS has physically abused Dillon before the time jump, broken Dillon's hand, called him the Soap-network version of a homophobic slur, not to mention a "pervert", gone back-and-forth and sent mixed signals, verbally abused him, punched him to the ground and almost killed him, and now he has been sexually abused and has been used as a part of a human trafficking ring.
Let's furthermore mention the Carter-Lucas factor as well, because I bet you also don't think Dillon is being abused and has been abused by Grace and Rex.
I'm done being discreet about this.
Do you ship Ste and Rex, I liked them at the start, but I think whole exploitation story, has damaged them and people ever being on board with them (some people even refuse to acknowledge Rex also a victim in this and treat him as some kind of monster like his worse than Grace, Clare or Banks. e.g the Lucas and Dillon fans mainly and some bitter James fans like he was some kind of saint or something, but Rex is the worst, but Lucas fans are sympathising with an abuser over the victim as well which makes there hate and lack empathy for Rex kind hypocritical tbh)
I'm undecided. I liked them at first but they got so domesticated and boring right away and ofc with Rex lying to Ste from the start. so I was over them. but now I'm kind of into them again with Rex taking the blame to protect the trio and Ste figuring it out and trying to get him out of jail. the truth is out, Ste is acting from a place of actually knowing what's going on and choosing to help Rex and so their relationship if they restart it will be very different. but yeah, Rex is def. a victim as well as a perpetrator and clearly both Ste and James have done a lot of awful shit so if people can sympathise with them but not Rex I don't know what their problem is. I guess people are always willing to overlook things with chars they like but not with ones they don't like.
