the void // the darkness

helel felt like he was being torn apart. one moment his siblings and him had been aiding his father in finally trapping the darkness and the next thunderous power had cut through their lines. helel barely had time to use his wings for protection before immense pain had flooded his systems. by the time he was able to move again, neither his siblings nor his father were to be seen. 

an unknown feeling of dread fell over his heart as he managed to get back on his feet, blade in hand he searched through the nothingness for any sign of them. 

                                               “father?”

he’d never been separated from the others--not like this. had something gone wrong? the idea that he was lost and unable to find them only made that feeling get worst. 

                                                 “ michael? gabriel? raphael!”

when no answer came helel felt himself shaking. what if he had failed? what if this is what happened when the ceased to exist? those thoughts only made him feel worst until his vision blurred and he had to reach up with his fingers to touch the wetness in his eyes. 

                                      what was happening to him?

“  father where are you. ”

Storytime:

Yesterday I went to the thrift store with my mother and sister

There was this guy crossing the parking lot the same time as us and I was like grinning at something we were talking about and he totally subtlety cruised me

Which was weird cause I mean my makeup was on point and sure I was wearing my awesome looking jeans but it’s winter and I wasn’t on my game there was minimal effort made

I mean the store is like two minutes from my house I was wearing comfort clothes and sure the hat makes me look cute but it mean I barely did my hair

Also this guy was passably cute he had lighter-ish hair and scruff and I mean if he wasn’t passably cute I might not have noticed the /glance/

You know the one

I don’t really remember what he looks like it was dark but I remember the glance

Also I got flustered and did that head-dip thing you see in movies that you’re like ‘omg that’s so fake who does that’ the answer is me I do that

It came out instinctually

It was a ‘that guy is cute he totally checked me out I can’t look okay I want to look I’m gonna look pretend you’re not looking’ thing

And there was a bit of a smile exchange thing when he held the door open and it was awesome

Thank god I wasn’t alone because it meant he didn’t try to talk to me because there’s only one kind of flirting I can handle and non-verbal’s about it for me

I’m not good with the outloud-words

Anyway we went separate ways in the store and I think he met up with someone or that might have been someone else idk but yeah I didn’t see him again 

I forgot how much I liked flirting? I used to do more when I still went to school cause I wasn’t a hermit and talking to people was a thing I had practiced at and was passable with and now I’m just not

So maybe I won’t go back there for like a month or two just to be on the safe side.
