did a market at a kickball tournament yesterday! was pretty fun, but not a ton of sales tbh.

this market was at one of my favorite local small bookstores, specifically the one that i went to regularly in my childhood! very very very sentimental place for me, so you can figure that i was SO excited to hear that they were hosting a pride market and even MORE excited when i got accepted as a vendor after applying!!
it was only a 2-hour long market (not including setup), so i was pleasantly surprised that i made pretty good sales! all the money i'm earning from markets is now officially going towards my top surgery fund, which i am super duper excited for and definitely should make a sign about for my table setup!
this market was also where i debuted my newest product: homemade syrups! it's legally counted as "cottage food," so there's rules and regulations on it that i must follow, so i can't sell it online among other rules. but it's still pretty cool, and i've posted the recipe here on tumblr before, so you're all free to try it out too! just make sure to read up on the laws wherever you live before you try selling it or giving it in bigger quantities!
