This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
Iron Lung has a few uses of flickering lights against total darkness, and several instances of sudden bright flashes from alert lights and screens.
The entire setting for this film is highly claustrophobic. There is some shaking camera work.
Flashing Lights: 8/10. Motion Sickness: 6/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: This film is excessively bloody (with literal pools), with some gore. There is one on-screen vomiting incident, and a later instance of gagging.
BRANDON'S REVIEW: While this is not a pleasant film to watch, it is an impressive feat pulled off by a YouTuber giving himself so many jobs to do; directing, producing, editing, and being the only on-screen actor would be an intensive task for even the most seasoned Hollywood actors. The claustrophobic and isolated setting combines with disturbing imagery enough to give even the most jaded of horror fans images that don't leave the mind for a long time. Grade: C+.
