Haha, thanks! This is the first time I’ve ever tried to play around with transparency. Not as hard as I expected tbh. I’m thinking of choosing a different lok character, or at the very least a different picture of Bolin to replace my current one, but I like this little change with the background.

Have my super late reply to that post: like yeah I have entirely fallen love with the show. I think I might just have a thing for super smart well developed children's shows with lots of feminism in them (atla and lok have that in common with steven universe). Could you recommend any steven universe blogs? I'm trying to get into that fandom. (Also I kinda assumed that post was something to do with me, I was trying to be all subtle in my response) Love your blog btw

I completely agree that it really has a great portrayal of female characters and male characters and at no point does it feel forced. Each female* character in the show is completely diverse and I love that Steven looks up to a lot of women in his life, which we don’t see a lot in young boys on tv.

*(I personally view the gems as non-binary but because they have adopted female pronouns and feminine characteristics I believe that this is a step forward for better non-binary and female representation)

As for some SU blogs I only follow a few, (since literally everyone I follow is posting Steven Universe since they’re watching it too) But yeh here’s some:
