That picture with the earth large behind the moon is unfortunately ai, but if you look at nasa’s tumblr they’ve shared actual pictures and they’re still pretty awesome! The earth looks very small from the moon, just like the moon and sun do from the earth, so that’s one way to tell a fake
Ugh. thank you nonnie, i appreciate it. i generally try and check for that before reblogging, but i honestly did not expect people to do that when we have this incredible thing happening right now, that we get to experience together. the fact that people are putting this through AI when we can see these incredible images almost real time from the Artemis II ... UGh. anyway. I have deleted the post and i just checked the NASA website and found these ones instead to share
