I can't say I am surprised. He attempted suicide before so no doubt he'll try again. Only this time, he succeeded. Before, I was still hoping that he will own his mistakes and will sincerely repent his sins once he is in jail.Maybe apologize to those children and their families after he exploited them. He might not redeem himself in public but he can still redeem himself to God. But he escaped in the most cowardly way. I am not happy he is dead. But I don't feel any sympathy towards him. If anything, I feel sorry for his family and friends' loss.
