I mean, show Violet obviously completely forgot about Edmund & jumped all in with Lady D's brother. Like, it wasn't even a struggle, which is such an odd story reset, considering she struggled with her love for and memories of Edmund in QC & S2. Like, WTF?!?

& also it seems so disgustingly incestuous, what's going on between the Bridgertons & Lady D.

I stand by my original thoughts- if they were gonna do a female love interest, Eloise & Violet would have been better options than Francesca.

Violet & some lady would have been A) interesting to watch, B) kept (somewhat) in line with the books, where Violet wasn't really interested in being with another man, & C) would have kept the option of a slowburn open. Could have even introduced the love interest as a cousin of the Smythe/Smith's, to lead them & their stories into the ton.

Idk. Seems like a better, more open option.
