[ Markus last remembered mere moments ago that he was over at Jude's place, as The Priest had invited all his friends - Being only him and Sam to a party. He was experimenting with hosting gatherings, and Markus thought it impolite to turn the poor man down. Sam unfortunately could not come. Markus was hoping he would show up, and upon learning he couldn't, Markus greatly considered walking out. He felt he had good reason to - It would've barely been a party with only three people, and they were down to two. ...Though, looking back, maybe he should have walked out. God help him, where was he? It felt too quick to comprehend - however getting here happened. Being here felt like a dream.. half a dream? All around him he saw were towering and imposing structures that seemed to reach high into the sky, and beyond seemed to be endless nothings. ] Markus to say the least is confused - anxious as he tries to orient himself. In his hand, his only remaining anchor to reality in this unfamiliar environment; his phone, gripped tightly. It has about half its battery life before he's completely cut off from familiarity. Trying to call Sam gave no results, same goes for Jude. Signal is dead. Markus is left to wander into the unknown, and he does. While aimlessly walking, he calls back to a small conversation he had with Avery. If his assumption is correct, he has managed to.. "noclip" into Carcosa - Assuming this is Carcosa and not one of the many levels of The Backrooms. For a bit, he would do nothing but walk, and walk, and walk, while Occassionally calling out for somebody - Anybody, but never receiving a response. Markus admits he has great disregard for if something is listening, but at this point, anything will do in a place that just.. lacked life as a whole. The reward for all his walking arrives to him in a matter of time in the form of a grand - Golden Gate. It's slightly ajar, almost as if expecting his arrival. With nowhere else to go, he approaches the Golden Gate and cautiously walks into whatever lies behind it. " ..Hello? Avery? Are you here? " (( Hello Noid! :D SO SORRY FOR THIS WALL OF TEXT, I figured I'd send an ask first, but I don't know how to go about it.. I hope this is okay! ))

This is something I've been thinking about for a bit. But is the multiverse a real thing? It's fascinating to think about. To know that there are possibly thousands of copies of you out there with their own unique lives.
Figured you'd be the best guy to go to about this.
Would you have other versions of yourself if the multiverse is real? Or are you above that, and will be the only King in Yellow ever? Because if you could have other versions of yourself, one of them is probably a mortal king! And I think that's awesome.
(HELLO AGAIN:D EXCUSE MY OTHER ASKS. I'm sleepy but I wanted to send something)
yes, yes, no.
do not investigate that line of conjecture further. do not.
