We made some grilled lamb chops and I needed a wine with enough heft to stand up to these beauties. Easy choice - Markus “Blue” from @markuswineco in Lodi. This big, bold ballsy wine - 90% Zin - is 16.5% of unapologetic alcohol and almost a meal in itself. A smooth wine for that much abv - nice use of oak but not overdone.
