any advice for spacing out medication throughout the day? I'm taking adderall (only 10 mg because it's fairly new, but I'm working up to 40 mg of ir throughout the day). I need to be able to focus from 8 am to 9 pm with my schedule, ideas?

I think that IR is maybe not right for you, or you might need to talk to your doctor about when you take it. The main thing you need to find out is how long your dose lasts for you, because it could be anywhere from four to eight hours (source). Then you can take your next dose about half an hour before it stops working completely, and see how long the next dose gets you to. It’s basically going to be trial and error until you know how long the medication works for, and you’ll need to talk to your doctor about how many times you can take it in a day.
