How long did it take you to find your dosage?
Hi! I’m newly diagnosed with ADHD. I’m about to try my first medication, and finals are starting in 6 days and will last until mid-May (I was supposed to start several weeks ago but there was–is!–an insurance issue). How long does it typically take for someone to find the right dosage and medication? Do ADHDers often have negative reactions initially?

It can take a while, but if stimulants will work you’ll know pretty quickly. For me, Dexedrine was my second medication, then there were other experiments, and now I’m back on Dex. My dose now is more than it was originally, but it took a while to find that.

About your post asking if you should up your t dose, increasing the amount of t that goes into your body at once can make your hormone levels freak out and actually make your estrogen spike having the opposite effect you want, just be patient with your transition and maybe work out a little to build more muscle, hope this helps
Uwu this is from a while ago, but I actually did end up upping my dose 50%. Nothing that dramatic happened I honestly don’t even know if it’s changed anything lol
