So Freckles birthed a baby that's the furriest, funniest looking combination of Gizmo the mogwai, a marmoset monkey and a hyena & it's so ugly that it's actually cute.

Marmoset monkey – information about their nature or characteristics

Many of you know about the new world monkey and Marmoset monkey are the other species or new world. Just like the Tamarin, their biological family is Callitrichidea and their other name is Goeldi’s marmoset. They are about twenty cm in size and have claws but do not have nails in their fingers. Their wrist have tactile hairs but wisdom teeth is absent in their mouth. Taking about their brain then it is primitive but the temperature of their body is keep on fluctuating.

Bolivia, Peru, Brazil etc are the countries where these marmosets’ monkeys are found. Also, many people are now keeping them as their pet because of their small size and adorable look.

Behavior

These monkeys love the canopy of the trees and live there. Insects, fruits, and other plant derived things are their food. Besides this, with the help of their lower incisors, they chew the branches and trunks of the trees in order to get the gum of the tree.

Just like other species of monkey, they too live in a family in which there are maximum fifteen family members. It includes breast feeding females, males which are unrelated, offspring’s, unrelated individual etc.

Their mating system varies and mainly the new born are triplets or twins. They are also very caring and pose great quality of sharing things with their siblings and family members.

Besides this, the adult members of the family take care of the infants and with the help of their scent they recognized their group members.

They love to eat crabs which they get from tree sap, from gnawing holes and trunks.
