Jaune proposed to Weiss at the Memorial Fountain in the front courtyard of Beacon during their Second Year there. He was unbelievably nervous and stuttered through everything until he dropped to a knee and asked her. Weiss sniffed–trying for pompous but actually holding back tears–and said yes by slapping the ring out of his hands [he thought his heart stopped in that moment] and launching herself into him while chanting “yes” over and over for a solid five minutes.

Weiss is commanding, but always checks with Jaune–even if it interrupts the moment–for his opinion on whatever is going on. Mainly she does it to annoy the Company elite when they visit White Castle–the Schnee family home in Atlas. She feels it shows them Jaune is more important than they are, and it both annoys and amuses Jaune.

Jaune cooks. While Weiss, over the years up to the start of the Loops, became a capable cook–better than Ruby, who burned an entire tray of biscuits once–she isn’t more skilled than most people living on their own. Bachelorette, you could say

She doesn’t show it in public–unless among friends–but Weiss will use any reason to sit pressed against Jaune or to be holding his hand. Jaune loves the attention, and always tries to make opening for Weiss to take advantage of so they can be close.

At Ruby’s insistence–though Weiss and Jaune didn’t resist–the two have come up with “partner attacks” much like Ruby did for Team RWBY. Showing off in spars is something Weiss loves, and Jaune is just glad his skill is where he can keep up.

Weiss has used her Glyphs to give them time alone, often locking them in their shared room–Weiss and Ruby, plus Jaune, rented an apartment after graduation–and triggering a Time acceleration Glyph so a few minutes outside is half an hour or so inside. Its draining to use and requires some focus, so they generally just cuddle, using it to “get away” for a bit when she’s stressed.

BONUS: (ANGST for the Asker!]

Since the Loops, Weiss finds it difficult to handle the long year-plus between Awakening on the first day and the day Jaune proposes. They’d been engaged for four years, and set to marry just a month after the point where the Loops end. 

Weiss always dreads the end of a Loop, because no matter how she tries to arrange it… nearly every iteration has Jaune, hanging from a Bullhead airship, appearing right before the end. And she never forgets the horror in his eyes before she snaps back to herself at the start of a new Loop.

(Mun feels they should explain: A Loop of time starts over when the anchor dies. Weiss is the anchor. Her Loops last six years, from the first day at Beacon to the day she runs to White Castle to stop a White Fang attack and is killed just as Jaune arrives.)
