in 2020 when we couldn't go on dates or really otherwise leave the house (because of the [checks notes] global health emergency) my husband and i made lists of singers/bands we wanted to listen to, used a random number generator, and used that to choose a band to listen to that week. then on fridays we'd have a lunch "date" and talk about what we liked, didn't like, etc.

anyway we've kept it up since then and that is why if you go onto my spotify i am listening to nothing but bruce springsteen this week.
