Marrow Graves

Diggory’s kid

Basically what if Diggory “gave birth” to reborn Marolmar (in essence but not in self/identity)

Sorta Marolmar reborn, sorta if Marolmar and Diggory had a kid together (in writing this i realised he’s like Steven Universe in that sense, with Marolmar as Rose)

He/they

Marrow looks like Diggory in that they have dead skin and Diggory’s facial features and sharp fingers

Has one white mendie eye and one black eye with a green iris

Deer ears, deer hooves, spots of lighter skin like deer speckles, and bone deer tail and exposed spinal bones (partly where he gets his name)

If Marrow happens whilst Nikignik and Diggory have a thing going so Nik is his Dad (yes the fact Diggory accidentally had a kid with Nik’s ex is very funny to me)

Having help from an indescribable to raise and indescribable child is very much appreciated by diggory

Grows moss and plants from his burning green tears (like Jonah)

Grows in weird spurts. Like he won’t seem to age at all and then goes very weary and kinda hibernates before a spurt and grows a bunch (kinda like he’s being “reborn”)

Pretty quiet and just kinda stares a lot which ppl find unnerving

Doesn’t get on well with other kids at school. They think he’s a weird freak and call him names, which causes Marrow to get upset and scary (makes green stars spin and his voice like thunder)

After this incident they speak even less only really talking when alone with Diggory (Nik will talk with them by just reading his mind so it seems like a one sided conversation but it’s not)

Frequently runs off into the forest is taken care off by the forest creatures until someone come finds him

Scout McGowan (another OC) babysits Marrow and she just starts babbling about her relationship drama to fill the eery silence

One time Marrow accidentally teleports to the workshop pocket dimension and bumps into Hector and Jonah who are very confused where this kid came from but keep an eye on them till diggory gets there

Becomes playmates with the Chapman kid who loves having a younger child to boss around

Also gets on well with Beetle Baby who is his favourite babysitter

Marrow having a short phase in their early teens where he tries to hide his differences like wearing hats to hide ears, shoes to hide hooves, but it doesn’t really work ofc so then goes far the other way and embraces it and is like if ppl find me weird and off putting thats ok cos i dont want to talk to them anyway. He’s still pretty shy and quite so finds they much prefer being alone or the company of animals and diggory is glad he’s more comfortable being himself but worries about them not having friends

Likes: the forest, his dog, Diggory, Nikignik, being off-putting

Dislikes: school, kids their own age, other ppl in general, Floris pulling their hair too tight when they plait it
