I find it *so emotional* that Edge is singing that to Bono, in response to Bono's lyrics in the rest of the song.

Totally agreed!! So much love! I love that it gives the song a type of dialogue feel. I always feel like Edge’s guitar dialogues with Bono’s voice, but I love times like this and Miracle Drug (and even Sweetest Thing kind of) when they really sound like they’re talking.
