So, I was thinking: Resident Evil Au where Chris gets infected and turns into a Zombie in the middle of the first game, and Wesker ends up keeping him for "studies" (he wants to find a cure).

In the process of trying to revert the damage, he gives up developing viruses (either because of how terrible the zombies turned out to be or because he finds the beauty of human resilience, up to you)

I'm working on chapter 4 of my showtime fic, but Caine and Pomni keep derailing the direction I wanted the conversation to go 😭

(I don't know how to feel about this chapter. It feels a little too abrupt for them to have an extremely long deep conversation right now. I might have to scrap some of it)
