He used to be a professional stage magician back in his day (and performed for at least ten of my birthday parties)

When he retired from the company he founded/ran for sixteen years his employees threw him a roast but then nobody roasted him because they all wouldn’t stop crying over how much they were gonna miss him so I ended up being the only person to actually roast my father 

One time Steve Beave rescued Gene Kelly from being locked in his office. True story.

Jumping into the lovefest late! (1) I like that I'm super super organized. In middle/high school I used to forget assignments and misplace things all the time, and now it almost never happens! (2) I like that I'm working on my self-confidence. I tend to be approx 100x harder on myself than anyone else, so I'm trying to get to a place where I can like myself more in general. :)

1) WAY TO GO FOR OVERCOMING WHAT MOST OF US CAN NEVER OVERCOME, IE CHRONIC MESSINESS! Please tell me your secrets, because I was (and am) exactly like how you describe yourself in high school. But seriously, I'm so happy that you've found a method and system that works for you and keeps control of your schedule - I'm sure it helps a shitton when things feel like they're getting crazy. 

2) Whoo boy, self-confidence is like that elusive thing, isn't it? But I have absolute faith that you'll be able to get to that place you're talking about. And remember that self-confidence and self-love are two different things; I think you have a lot of faith in your abilities, but maybe not so much faith in your qualities, if that makes sense. All I can tell you is that you seem like a really nice person and someone who's working really hard, and those are qualities that I like, at least!

RED LIPSTICK ALL THE TIME. I don't wear it everyday but whenever I do I feel fresh as hell. Depending on what I'm wearing I like a more neutral tone too. But goddamn do I love red lipstick. 

style: what was your worst phase style-wise?

out of the woods: what are you most scared of?

Phobically, fire and spiders. Generally, I don't think I fear being alone, but I definitely wouldn't want that happening (romantically I'd survive, I just mean in general with friends etc). I guess I fear not ending up in the career or lifestyle that I strive toward. 

all had to do was stay: who should be next to you right now?

I dunno! Nobody romantically. Maybe my brother? 

shake it off: which song is your biggest jam at the moment?

I will bawl my eyes out to "Dream" by Priscilla Ahn. "Back to Black" and "Koop Island Blues" are also on repeat at the moment. But jam wise probably Blank Space.

i notice this a lot too. i’ve also noticed i sometimes apologize for who i am, so i’ve tried to stop? i mean obvs if i screw up i owe an apology, but i’m trying to stop saying sorry for asking questions/being curious/my ridiculous sense of humor/etc.

yep friend i am glad you feel me because i also believe in the idea that we should stop apologizing for existing

mostly because we need to stop tom hiddleston
