A bit later the doorbell rings, and Martha is there, having two bags of sushi take out with her

"Hello! I brought you your sushi!"

Dick makes his way to the door, and opens it with a wide smile. “Oh my god, thankyou so much.” He hugs her.

“It’s so good to see you. Come on in, here.” He leads her to the dining table.

After almost an hour, the doorbell rings, Martha standing in front, having a little baby dressed from head to toe in pink, strapped to her chest.

"Hello Mary dear! I got us a car! And my little Star!"

“Hello! And oh! Isn’t she just so precious… what a little darling!” She grins.

She follows Martha to the car and buckles in.

“I found online some cute patterns. The knitting ones I bought digital but the sewing ones I wanted to get physical patterns wherever possible, and then of course the materials.” She smiles excitedly.

Rude is giving a stranger’s kid things without talking to them first. Who are you, and please considered I don’t have the best experience with clowns?

Unfortunately, redbuds would not thrive in Gotham due to the lack if sun here, and I thiiink mountain laurel could drown, with all the rain we get here. Sad times to be little old me

Yeah, both are native to Texas where it's all sun all the time, though I think the native range for eastern redbuds are close enough to where you are so maayyybbeee??

I think you could also try hydrangeas bc of how much water they need.

Though, I know there are a bunch of other pretty flowering plants that prefer partial to full shade! However, I don't really know that many bc, again, all sun, all the time. I do know that my school will be growing out this field by my dorm where there's always a bunch of wildflowers, so I'll send you pictures of them!

There is a ringing at the door. Martha stands in front with a few boxes of diapers.

Dick rushes to the door and opens it with an excited smile. “Hey nana!” He hugs her tightly and takes the boxes.

“Ohhhh my gosh, thankyou! Did you hear about the baby drive I’m organizing? I’m putting together big boxes for low income and teen expecting parents. These will be so perfect! How are you?” He asks her.
