MY FAV GENDER OF WOLFRAM IS SULKING WOLFIE!!! I have a pattern on my fav characters...
There were no words that could possibly describe the amount of pure hatred Yuuri held towards Murata at that moment.
Granted, he should’ve known by now that Murata basically lived to make his life miserable - but this was going too far.
Not only had Murata volunteered him as a participant for a psychological study without his consent, but the devil’s incarnate basically sealed his fate with what the experiment required.
An hour spent in a pitch black room, alone with a stranger.
As if the pitch black room weren’t enough, he would be stuck with someone that he didn’t know and was therefore, a suspicious individual.
In. The. Dark.
For perhaps the umpteenth time since the beginning of his friendship with Murata, Yuuri started to really consider killing his best friend.
Yuuri felt like crying.
You could call him a wimp all you want, but that didn’t change the fact that he was seriously regretting ever complying with Murata’s spontaneous demands.
Here he was: sitting, alone in a dark room where he literally couldn’t see anything, in silence because the person who was assigned as his partner was running late.
Then again, even though he would never admit it to anyone, he felt a sliver of relief form because his paranoid ass would never believe that a complete stranger had any remotely agreeable intentions towards him.
Yuuri jumped when he heard the door open, and the clicking of footsteps growing closer by the second. There were two pairs: one belonging to the experimenter, the other belonging to his partner for the next hour. Some shuffling was heard, followed by the defined screech of the chair being pulled back. Yuuri could hear footsteps again - only one pair this time - which signalled the exit of the experimenter, followed by the door shutting close.
A couple seconds of silence reigned over the two of them, before Yuuri decided to at least try to establish an amenable relationship.
Yuuri cleared his throat before vocalising a nervous “Um... Hello?”
A minute pause; before, “Hello. You must be my partner for the experiment.” Another pause, in which Yuri could basically see a frown appear on the stranger’s face, based on his tone. “I wasn’t informed that you were in the room already. My apologies for not having greeted you earlier.”
“Oh, no, no! I should’ve greeted you the moment you stepped in!” Yuuri waved both his hands out in front of him, despite knowing that the other wouldn’t be able to see them.
A warm, bell-like laugh sounded from his companion, and Yuuri didn’t understand it very well, but he knew that that did something.
“You’re a nice guy. My name’s Wolfram. What’s yours?” Wolfram’s voice carried an almost comforting, yet alluring tone, and Yuuri could feel his body react in ways he was unfamiliar with, which should’ve concerned him, but it almost felt... nice.
Yuuri felt himself smile before fully realising he was smiling, and replied, “I’m Yuuri. Nice to meet you, Wolfram.”
“Nice to meet you too.” Another genuine, wholehearted chuckle came from Wolfram. “So Yuuri...”
Yuuri sighed, gazing out the window of the cafe he was currently sitting in, and had been sitting at for a good couple hours of his day.
Three days had passed since he participated in that experiment that Murata forced him to go to, but really, he had nothing to complain about after what actually happened when he was there.
Meeting Wolf was truly an irreplaceable experience; the two had conversed and even had light-hearted arguments on a myriad of topics during their hour together in the dark, and the connection they had formed during that short time frame was definitely special. Yuuri felt like he was losing a friend that he’d known for years when the experiment ended and they went off on their separate ways without exchanging any contact information.
Yuuri mourned for the loss of what could’ve been a beautiful relationship before it even had the chance to take off. Even now, 72+ hours after they had parted, Yuuri could remember Wolf’s voice sing vividly in his mind...
“Excuse me.”
Yuuri’s eyes - which had at some point during his recollection of Wolf’s voice closed - snapped open immediately, growing to the size of his favourite baseballs before jerking his head towards the direction that the voice came from.
His ebony met striking emerald; the beautiful male standing next to him had short luscious golden locks that would’ve sparkled under the sunlight and was dressed in a fashionable yet still humble and dignified manner, which only brought out the unblemished, pale skin of his face, neck, and hands even more. The gorgeous blond appeared to be holding a sketchbook and had a bag hanging from his shoulder.
Yuuri’s initial reaction wasn’t to the male’s breathtaking attractiveness though.
Pale blond eyebrows knit together as the other male frowned a bit in confusion at Yuuri’s reaction, before continuing.
“Is this seat open? I’d like to sit here, if you don’t mind.”
That did it. Yuuri wouldn’t mistaken that voice, ever. Not after having it haunt him for the past couple days, managing to even sound in his dreams.
Yuuri’s throat had at some point became parched, and he gulped in an attempt to normalise his voice before speaking.

I tried my damn best to find the original artist of 2/3 of these. I use Japanese Google to find unique art and because it is not my native language I struggle to find certain things. I even did an image search and did not find the creator. :)
