Instead of watching Brave New World, now is the perfect time for a Spiderverse rewatch, featuring explicitly Jewish Peter Parker, the amazing Miles Morales, and a multiverse plotline that actually makes sense.
Dear anon,
That’s pretty good yeah! The sequel is good too
personally I’m watching 100 years of solitude but yeah that’s a pretty good one
Honestly the mcu was never good and it just went downhill after Endgame

Here I am again talking about Cap 4 Boycott
I'v seen a recrudescence in marvel content on my fyp, tl... and I just want to inform yall that there is a Boycott call ( from BDS ) for Captain America : Brave New World.
In this movie there is Sabra aka "captain israel" a propaganda character ; Marvel ultimatly decide to just keep Ruth Bat-Seraph as her name and change her backstory so she's now a former Black Window and not a mutant BUT they're keeping the actress, wich was part of the IOF ( she didn't even have to, she had a medical prescription, she choose to do this ) and since we haven't seen the movie we don't know how it will play out.
Quick reminder about TFATWS : They change the plot because of Covid. They change the plot. The tv show was scrappy becauseof it, but they change the plot because they didn't want to talk about a disease when people were dying. So why not change the plot of cap 4 ? Aren't Palestinians worth it ?
Marvel knows their choice ( keeping Sabra and her actress ) it's controversial, they are wilingly putting the 1st Black Captain America Movie in jeopardy. ( after already jeopardizing the tv show )
As much as it pain me to not go support the first théâtre apparence of Sam Wilson As Cap I will boycott this movie.
All my thought are for the ones suffering and their families either in Paletsine, Liban and other countries
i hate the “you have to separate the art from the artist” argument because why? why do you have to separate it? so you can buy the art and support the artist? so you can buy the art and fund the bad corporation?
i understand that you may like the art but there are repercussions for supporting the artist.
on a very very related note, there is a marvel boycott. don’t buy marvel products. don’t support marvel. don’t stop talking about palestine.
Kamala Khan Deserves Your Support (On the Marvel Boycott Debate)
So Steve Rogers is a villain. He’s not brainwashed, it’s not a clone, and it’s not all happening inside an alternate reality. Steve Rogers is a straight up fascist Hydra villain. Yes, that Hydra. The same Hydra that is synonymous with Nazis no matter how much backbending justification Marvel and Nick Spencer want to do. Even if you buy Nick Spencer and Marvel’s disingenuous assertions that Hydra and Nazis are separate things and Steve can be one and not the other, it is undeniable that he’s a bad guy now. At least, he is until the next big game-changer event from Marvel.

I was not aware that there was a boycott against Marvel going on (I don't delve into superhero stuff much because a lot of it is... terrible, especially Marvel), but good thing I have no interest in seeing anything they release nor ever plan on doing! So this boycott shall work at least with me! Because fuck Marvel, man.
Dear anon,
I mean I like the comics
but like fuck the mcu actually they’re nothing more but lowest common denominator whitewashed military propaganda
there I feel better saying it out loud
Cecil
I still dislike Marvel Boycott!
Vor.
I mean red hulk at least kind of fits with a theme if the military since Ross is a general? And Ross did work with Steve Rodger’s at one point in a run I think around 2015?
Like, I can see red hulk working in a captain America story even if not as the main villain, here’s will trade villains sometimes in marvel it’s not a huge issue on its own,
But the leader? Thematically he doesn’t really connect to cap in any meaningful way, his deal is more mad scientist seeking knowledge at any cost and defying the laws of nature, or at most simple “I’m smart so I should be in charge of everything”
Dear anon,
I’m not a MCU fan anymore I was never that up on my Captain America lore but this sounds like a pretty bad or mid movie because story is just ok and themes are shallow (although theb3rdman suggested a pale ghoulish tech genius whispering in the ear of an angry red politician as intentional political satire of Musk and Trump) not because there a black people or jews in it
truly this and Emilia Perez will be one of those films that everyone dislikes but for wildly different reasons
