So I'm doing a Morbius re-watch while working on an essay, and I got (once again) a sudden urge to write about Dr. Michael Morbius. If I did write something, would anyone read it, though? I just really want to write something about him, so if anyone has any requests, don't feel shy and send them to me.

P.S. I know the movie came out a long time ago, but who cares?

Michael Morbius x Reader: I Could Never Be Afraid

SPOILERS FOR MORBIUS! Kinda, just who he is.

Okay fine I'll write a vampire fic. I don't like vampires. Sorry lol. Also I know it's short.

Description: Reader and Michael are fighting and he vampires out a bit and scares them.

Gender: neutral! No pronouns used!

WARNINGS: Vampirism, verbal fighting

"Michael you don't even come into work anymore!" You try not to raise your voice at him.

"Don't you think I try to?" His voice sounds dangerous.

You sigh. "I know you do. But I'm here to help. Let me help."

"You can't."

"Yes I can." You grab his arm as he starts to walk away. "Michael, listen. I've helped you deal with everything for years-"

"This is different, Y/N. I'm putting you in danger." His eyes fail to meet yours.

"You're not doing anything. This is my decision."

He turns around and stares at you. "And this is my life, not yours."

You step back, hurt ringing clear in your face. You take a few breaths to prevent yourself from exploding. "What's the worst that could happen?"

"Milo." He almost whispers.

"Me helping you has nothing to do with-"

"He wants to destroy everything!" His voice turns into a growl. You take another step back. "He's insane! He's going to kill you Y/N! And that's on my shoulders!"

His face, just for a moment, narrows. His eyes turn red. Immediately, he turns away from you.

There is a moment of deadly silence between the two of you. He doesn't face you. His head is hung, back hunched over as if he's trying to hide from you.

All of your anger melts away. You wrap your arms around him, resting your face on his back. You feel him stiffen for a second, protesting your touch. Then, he turns around and returns your hug.

"I'm sorry." He whispers.

"It's okay." You hug him tighter.

"Are- are you scared of me?"

You pull away and look into his eyes. There is a sense of insecurity in them you've never seen before. You put your hand on his cheek.

"Michael, I could never be afraid of you."

He pulls you back into his arms. "I'm sorry I yelled at you."

"Will you stop fighting me now?" You look at him.

He nods slightly.

"And besides," you continue, "I know you'll never let Milo hurt me anyway."

You feel him smile and relax.

Just imagine Batman returning from a night patrol to find the bats on the deepest level of his bat cave flying away through the sewer tunnels to go rescue Morbius, who's screaming in another part of the city, apparently defeated on the concrete.

And Batman is perplexed, trying to figure out what's going on, but the bats simply leave him, as if saying, "Gotta go, there's another bat bitch in town now!"

Meanwhile, Morbius was being enveloped by bats just like a fluff ball, as they nominate him as the new bat queen he is!

don't see why anyone would go to see morbius in theatres again when truthfully, we have all already seen the movie haven't we. where did those gifs of the entire film go. nobody needs to see more than that surely

... I cannot be the only one who was waiting for it to come out that Milo had a thing for Michael. Waited right up to the credits for that.

What are thoughts on morbius trailer? The only thing I know remember abou morbius was on spider man cartoon and ultimate spider man.

I love it. I just do. Marvel has a long long long list of vampires that deserve the spotlight and morbius is definitely one of them. He’s literally a artificial vampire,that’s just cool. Plus it leads to more other characters coming to the universe like S.H.E.I.L.Ds howling commandos,Dracula and the many monster hunters plus also a great way into the X-men as well. This is literally what we need right now.
