She faced huge changes, losses, grief and wars, and it changes you as a person. No one knew what was coming for them, what had happened in the world, the universe or should we say... the multiverse. Among her mundane friends, Frainn tried to forget her cold but golden royal heritage but her fate was sealed before she even knew what was on her path... and you can’t fight fate itself.

Marvel Thor The Dark World Phase 2 Pros and Cons

Pros

1. I know their are fans of the Thor comics and fans of marvel in general that would say Thor the Dark World is the worst Thor movie in the trilogy and worst marvel movie of all times, then again I’m a fan of marvel so rewatch the second Thor film over again and listening other views on films what could have been done to make this movie better, like i said in my last breakdown of the first Thor I’m a big fan of Mythology and after rewatching The Dark World to my, I think were people miss one of the best aspect of Dark World is that its more fantasy driven and mythology heavy, that is one of the aspect that this film were at their strongest.

2. The Introduction of the third Infinity Stone, the Reality Stone I really like the opening scene were Odin is giving a backstory about the Reality Stone in that time it was being called the Aether, also i like how the Aether has a sentience’s to its nature basically a living entity of totally destruction.

3. I feel like the Dark Elf were more of a threat to the Asgardians more so then the frost giants from the first movie, I’m not interlay sure if the Dark Elf really come from Norse Mythology or if they were just created for the movie but then again i like them because they prove that they were the biggest threat, like look how they easily invaded Asgard, sent a powerful doomsday like monster to destroy their shield barriers, had access to technology more advanced then the Asgardians.

4. Malekith Ruler of the Dark Elf race also known as Malekith The Accursed, i know he’s not one the best marvel villain but i like him because of the power upgrade he got during the movie i mean went up to god-level status after absorbing the Aether. I think people forget how big off threat that Malekith was because this is a powerful individual that is capable harnessing an infinite stone and he was so close to bring totally annihilation to the universe.

5. Frigga Also known as Freyja in actual Norse Legends, Freyja is a Vanir Goddess and the wife of Odin. She is the Queen of the Gods and the Goddess of Marriage, Frigga in the MCU is almost the same as her Earth-616 counterpart but still vastly different she uses magic like Loki and Odin and we see her fight Malekith like he’s nothing to her. What I really like about Frigga for her purpose of this movie is the sacrifice that happen to her because of her death we can see absolute character change from both Thor and Loki.

Cons

1. Now their still a lot of creative problems with Thor The Dark World in terms of storytelling and character arcs. The first being Male-kith, Male-kith could have been easily one of the best marvel villains, he needs a character arc so that everyone would feel some type of connection to him, like Thanos for an example, Thanos character arc was all about trying to save the universe form itself by snapping away half of the population from across the universe. Male-kith needs something like that an arc about him trying to save his race from extinction by using the Aether the Reality Stone to revert the entire universe back to eternal darkness so that he’s people could thrive once again but by doing so it would caused a mass extinction level event across multiple galaxies, if they would have chosen this storyline that character arc for Male-kith this film would have been golden.

2. Not seeing the other nine-realms of the Norse Mythology, look the Thor Trilogy we got to see some interesting places like Asgard, Midgard, Nidavellir even though that wasn’t a realms more like another planet, Muspelheim , Svartalfheim and Vanahiem. We didn’t get to see Alfheim home to the Light Elf’s in the comics or Nifflehiem realm of the dead again miss opportunity that MCU overlooked.

3. The Warriors Three, The so called greatest warriors in Asgard dimension still serve no purpose in the movie why are they here, again nothing compared to their comic book characters. They still look weak and their costume almost look cheap in my opinion, i wish they could have done more with these characters because i like comic books characters.

4. Lady Sif again why is she called The Goddesses of War, she still hasn’t shown me anything reason on why she holds this title.

5. Heimdall the sentry of Asgard poor Edris the really did wasted his character in first two Thor movie

Rate from best to worst the mcu movies of the phase 2 in your opinion? And why? (Not based on how successful it was on the box office or anything like that)

Little noteHi guys again thanks for everything for your support and everything you are really amazing, well today we will make an a ranking of the marvel movies (phase 2) maybe it will be long but well I want to tell you why the positions, is not based in anything than my opinion of the movie I hope you enjoy it! (sorry for my grammar mistakes if you are new maybe you don’t know that I originally talk spanish so please be patient) xoxo

1. Captain America the winter soldier:

This movie is in the first place! congrats cap! 

well now the “why” this movie is complete in action and photography also supported in a realistic story full of action and well worked characters, one of the things that I personally highlight about this movie is the story because every single character have a congruent purpose also we can explore a little bit more of them and we can meet them again for another point of view, I like the conflict in this movie is basically how corruption and bad guys are always there even if we have good intentions, thats what happen with shield and hydra, also this movie offers to the viewer the opportunity of enjoy this internal conflict in every single character; also this movie have spectacular action like I mentioned before the elevator scene, for instance, is well choreographed and the winter soldier scenes wow! this movie is one of my favorite movies and one of the superheroe movies what, in my opinion, works with the characters to bring them realism and in that way create a conection between the characters and the viewers.

2. Avengers: Age of ultron

I really like this movie well maybe you notice for the “marvelavengers-age-of-ultron…” etc.

……and I know you are thinking well but why is in the second place and not the first one here is the thing so lets start with this I don’t like the fact that this is a “transitional movie” why I said this well is because it was the AGE of ultron I really was expecting see ultron like a dictator at least a little bit but the fight was actually really short to be de AGE OF ULTRON but well that’s the only inconvenience that I see in this movie I actually love the villain (ultron of course) he was bad in his own way maybe was well not the best of the evil plans but it works I really enjoy ultron and how this situation fractionate the avengers and how this affects specially tony stark, another thing that I have to highlight is the time of the characters in scene it was well worked considering the introduction of new characters, I like a lot the action in the movie and well the hulkbuster was just amazing one of the best fights in the movies for sure

3.  Guardians of the galaxy:

I AM GROOT!!

There is not reasons “bad reasons” to have this movie in the third place is just that simple, being honest I think is just in the third place and not in the second for my crush with the avengers soo… I don’t know if is because of that or….I don’t know! it was a difficult choice!!, whatever this movie is so awesome! since the beginning of the movie they captured me but I have to admit that at first I don’t have a lot of faith in this movie I don’t even know about the guardians but wow! they really surprised me with a funny movie with well worked characters that works amazing in that team one of the things that I HAVE TO highlight is the music, is one of the reasons why this movie steal our attention and it helps the movie and it gives a new and a original atmosphere maybe the villains need like more purpose and presence we need to feel that they was a real menace but I really don’t feel it but is the only mistake on this good movie (also amazing photography)

4. ANT-MAN

The little big hero!

This movie work with comedy since the beginning and it works they work with a nice main character you feel sympathy with him and specially with his daughter I thing the characters of hope and hank were good handled and I like their complicated relation also I really like the story behind hank pym and his wife one of the thinks that don’t convince me from this movie was the bad guy (yes marvel you have to work a little bit more in the bad gus //MCU//excluding loki, and ultron//) well I fell that this guy was just like the typical bad guy he didn’t surprise me I just fell him like “another transitional bad guy”, I really highlight the special effects this travel to the “ant world” and how everything change in a miniature level was really amazing!

5. Iron man 3

Maybe you notice that I LOVE iron an so this is hard…

ahh my relationship with this movie is complicated what can I said I love iron man but definitely this is not his best movie (the best was the first one) but what happen to me with this movie? well as you probably supposed my problem is the mandarin. This movie works amazing in all the publicity i was really excited with it and the first half of the movie don’t disappoint me but then they have the great (sarcasm) idea of make the exceptional performance of Ben Kingsley a joke please someone can explain me WHY?! he was perfect for this character….but an actor really? agh that really bothers me well and then is this other “transitional villain” c'mon I want the mandarin!! and I understand all the love thing with pepper but destroy all his armors what if the avengers need you later that night? aaaa well I will calm myself because that hurts but for me the movie works really good till the mandarin profanation is hard I AM A IRON MAN FAN but is true whatever I still love tony…. and if you ask me I am waiting for Iron man 4 I want to see the real mandarin fight with tony (robert) it would be epic… they just waste that amazing opportunity

6. Thor  the dark world

I promise honestly and I will be honest //please understand that is just my opinion// this movie bored me in the half of the movie I was like exhausted I was expecting more but I really feel again the syndrome of the “transitional not important villain” the only thing that I can actually highlight is the photography and well Loki he steal the movie he save the movie I actually need more Loki and well the story didn’t make me feel emotion or something I just can’t make a connection with this movie *sorry thor*

Thats everything! *thor sobbing* well well but whatever we learn of our mistakes and now marvel is making awesome stuff because… well is marvel hahah!

I find it pretty sad that in 'Thor' OST there is track called "Sons of Odin" and in 'Thor: TDW' OST there is only a track called "Thor, Son of Odin".
