Can I request headcanons for Marvel Rivals Gambit reacting to his gn s/o clinging onto him in your sleep please?

the minute Remy felt you cuddle in closer to him during the night, he's latching his arms over your waist and keeping you close as humanly possible, burying his head into your shoulder and staying there in blissful content that continues well into the next morning.

he doesn't mind you clining to him in your sleep, he actively encourages anything that you do to help you feel more comfortable and at ease, and if clining to him is the way you feel most comfortable then who was he to deny you? that and it's an excuse for him to cling onto you in retun and never let go for the life of him.

even if he's warm he's not going to complain to you latching onto him in your sleep, it's what he's here for, to be what his lover needs the most.

that and he get's to watch your expressions change on your face like they were christmas lights on a multicoloured setting, happy, sad, mad, etc he's always wondering what goes on in your mind when you wander off into dream landand wonders if some of them regarded him in any shape or form.

if so then Remy could only hope that his dream self took as good of care of you as he did or else there'd be words he would very much like to exchange in that regard.

even if you woke and apologised for clinging onto him, remy would only laugh and bring you back down to his chest, rubbing your back and peppering your forhead in soft kisses before telling you that you didn't need to apologise for anything as you did nothing wrong and were only doing what felt right for better sleep.

'cuddle and cling onto me as much as you like mon cher, i very much enjoy waking up to the sight of the most spectacualr person in my life so up close and personal every morning, gives me an excuse to stop everything and stare.' he'd tell you with a cheeky but meaningful smile. 'now get some more sleep, i'm sure we won't be missed for a couple more minutes.'

The second Kurt made him aware that you were walking towards him, holding something tightly between your hands and looking as though you were in deep contemplation on whether or not to be sick, Remy was quick to attention.

'look alive mein friend.' he had said before teleporting eslewhere, most likely to speculate from afar.

'you okay there mon cher?' he asks when you were close enough to him, smiling softly.

'this is for you bye.' was your rushed response as you shoved the letter within his hands, not looking him in the eye as you quickly ran the other way to hide your mortified expression from him, cursing Kitty and Jean along the way.

Remy looked at the note you gave him and knew what kind of letter it was, for if it was any other letter you wouldn't have bolted off as quickly as you did if you weren't confessing some innermost feelings you had for him, and while he was sad that you had ran off before his brain could formulate words for him to speak he held the letter close to his chest with a smile beaming across his lips.

Remy knew he would have to confront you sooner or later regarding the letter but for now he would keep the letter tucked in the pocket of his coat, pulling it out when he was alone and reading your writting, noting the scribbles and scrawls there as if you were struggling to get your point across in multiple parts, yet it was this messy and raw and unfiltered of it that made it all the more real and special for Remy.

for it meant that your feelings were true and deep enough to show him just how he affected you, to bear your heart to him like you did in this way. Romance in it's purest form, where it was messy, uncertain, uncharted terratory for both parties, yet it's worth experiencing all it's hardships knowing they'll come out stronger and with a deeper understanding of the other.

now he felt as though he needed to show you just how much you have affected him through a letter of his own. after all it was only fair to meet you on level ground.

Can I request headcanons for how would Marvel Rivals Gambit finding excuses to spend more time with gn reader please?

Remy doesn't really need to try hard to find excuses in order to spend more time with you, and even when he does use them his actual motive was clear as day, yet you let it slide becuase you were just as eager to spend time with him in equal measure.

especially after missions he'll want to spend quality time with you as to cool down and do whatever you want in hopes of forgetting the things that went wrong during the mission. he needs to destress and what's a better way for Remy to destress then to be by your side doing the simple things.

'mind if i join you?' he'd ask when he sees you under a tree, overlooking everyone else as they played basketball or tennis. he had seen you while he was walking with Kurt towards the manor before parting ways with his blue friend, much to Kurt's amuesment, and venture over to you.

'we'ren't you with Kurt just a few minutes ago?' you asked.

Remy laughed. 'we had different places to be and i thought you looked like you needed some company being all by your lonesome over here.'

you looked at him for a while as though trying to get a read on him, like you were trying to decipher whether he was lying or not to your face about his reason of coming to you, only to sigh and pat the space beside you ans smiling to yourself when Remy was quick to make himself comfortable and start performing tricks with his playing cards.

Remy from that point onwards would find any way to be near you and do so in the most natrual way as not to raise any suspicion within you that he was spending time with you for other reasons.

you could simply be getting cereal and Remy would find a way to spend time with you somehow.

if you were to ever go outside of the manor for anything, Remy was right at the doorway, waiting for you with a smile on his face and claiming that you both might as well go together as he had a couple of places to be himself. (you soon found out that that was a load of bullshit real quickly when he did what you did)

Remy on the other hand was just happy to get to spend time with you, even if half the time he was lying out of his ass to do so, but he wouldn't regret it a single bit as it was a day well spent in your presence. a white lie can't hurt when his heart and reasons were in the right place.
