IMAGINE: Being an Avenger, and Peter tries to impress you, but he fails spectacularly.
“Holy shit, that looked like it hurt!”
IMAGINE: Scott sees you use your powers for the first time, and falls in love with you.
“Oh my god, you are just so beautiful, (Y/N).”
AN: This is the AU where when you fall in love with someone, their tattoo appears on you. And I kinda just wrote this cause I was bored and I wanted to.
IMAGINE: You and Gambit admitting you love each at the same time, and each other’s tattoo appear on the other
“So I guess you do love Gambit then, cher?”
Gritting your teeth, you got up from the mat, wiping away the sweat from your eyes. The Cajun mutant gave you a slow smile. “I thought yah said yah were getting better, no?”
You rolled your eyes, stretching out your arm. “I am Remy!” you snarked, and he laughed. It had been about a year since you came to the Jean Grey’s School For Higher Learning, and your life had turned upside down. Your mutant powers had appeared after Hope Summers and Wanda Maximoff destroyed the Phoenix Force and triggered the reemergence of X gene. One minute, you were a normal college kid, and the next, plasma energy was shooting out of your hands. After reaching the Institute, Wolverine, the Headmaster, assigned Gambit to teach you to control your powers, after noticing how similar your power set was. And you hated him for that decision.
Remy LeBeau was a cocky, flirty, charming, incredibly handsome and worst of all, you were falling him.
You were shocked backed to reality when the man in question flung a charged card at you. Acting on instinct, you sent out a bolt of white plasma from your hand, blowing up the card on impact. “What the hell?” you seethed, looking at Remy in shock, while he held another flaming card in his hand. “You could have killed me!” you pointed out, crossing your arms.
Remy rolled his eyes, and the purple energy died out, flicking the card back into his pocket. He gave you a slow smoldering grin, and you felt your stomach tighten in response.“Well, cher, I knew you could handle it, and-”
Before he could finish his sentence, you flung another of your bolts, knocking him to the mat. His eyes were wide in shock as pinned him down, and bolt in your hand, poised to knock him down, your hair falling around your face. You were breathing heavily, and your plasma crackled. My god, he thought, (Y/N) is the most beautiful thing I have seen.
His mind flashed to the various encounters you two had had. When you first met, you blushed and called him an asshole. To when he found you crying in your room because your long time boyfriend had broken up with you because you were a mutant, and he had stayed by your side all night. To you chastising him for flirting with one if the older students, and Rogue nodding approvingly. To you protecting him from a rogue Sentinel when it attacked the school, and you landing in the hospital for three days. To now. To realizing how much he was in love with this fiery mutant who called herself Plasma.
“Woman, I am so in love you,” he whispered hoarsely, and before either of you knew it, he was kissing you. You gasped into his mouth, and winded your hands into his hair.
You pulled away, breathless, giving him a broad smile. “I am too,” you admitted, and he gave you a big smile, just as you both felt a burning on your shoulders. You let out a squeak of pain, but Remy only bit his lip. The burning slowly went away, and you peaked at your shoulder.
There was a small playing card, the Queen of Hearts to be exact, imprinted on your shoulder, matching the one on Gambit’s ankle. Without looking, you knew he had a little lightning bolt on his shoulder, symbolizing his love for you.
Turning back to Gambit, you could see his gaze was on the card on your shoulder. Slowly looking back at you, he gave you a blinding smile. “So I guess you do love Gambit then, cher?”
Marvel High School
Part 1
“Welcome to Hell School.”
“Yes, sir,” you sighed, pressing the phone to your ear. “No, sir. Okay, sir. Yes, sir, we’ll be on the lookout. Okay, sir. Good bye sir.” you hung up, sighing again, and rubbing your eyes. It felt like every moment since you joined S.H.I.E.L.D. at the end of last school year, you were getting a phone call from your boss, the Director, Phil Coulson. He always wanted to know if had seen anything out of ordinary, if you were practicing your fighting, if you were ready for your first day of school, if… BLAH BLAH BLAH. He had basically become your third parent, but you loved your new team.
Daisy Johnson, a senior and your team mate, chuckled besides you and you slammed your locker shut. “Is DC getting on your nerves?” she teased, her brown eyes bright with amusement. The older girl was the leader of your team based at the Lee High School, called the “Secret Warriors”. You had three other kids on your team. Lincoln, a newbie like you and a senior, who you thought was in a secret relationship with Daisy. Jemma Simmons, who along with her best friend Leo Fitz, were two seniors who were two of the smartest people you’ve ever known. One of the older agents, Melinda May, posed as the AP Government teacher, and your coordinator with the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. And you? Well, you were the scared junior on your first day who didn’t quite know where you fit in yet.
“Just a little bit. It’s like he’s my third parent,” you joked, leaning against the wall, as Daisy dug in her locker.
“Yeah, I know the feeling,” her voice was muffled, as half of body was stuck in the locker. She suddenly popped back out, a triumphant look on her face as she pulled out her Pre-Calc book. “Are you nervous for your first day, (Y/N)?” she asked, shutting her locker, and stuffing her text book into her backpack.
You groaned, biting your lip. “And you just had to remind me.” the other girl laughed, and you sighed. “A little bit, I guess,” you admitted. “It’s such a huge school, and my other one was only a 1A.”
Daisy gave you a sympathetic look, and gave you a hug. “Hey, it’ll be fine. Just keep a look out for some of the more troubling students. Like Pietro Maximoff and Remy Lebeau.” there was an annoyed tone to her voice, and her face scrunched up.
“Oh? What do they-” you were interrupted as the bell rang, signaling five minutes to the start of first period.
“Well, you better get to class!” Daisy gave you one last hug, before walking away. She suddenly turned back, and devious smile on her face. “Oh, and before I forget, welcome to Hell School!”
~~~~
As you stood outside your first period class, you could feel your heart beating wildly in your chest, and whole body started to shake. Calm down, (Y/N), you scolded yourself. Just take a deep breath and walk in there. Doing just that, you pulled the door open and stepped in right before the bell rang.
Immediately, all eyes were on you as the teacher paused in taking role. He was a bigger man, with large glasses, and glassy eyes. “Ah, yes,” he said, his voice tinged with a slight British accent. “You must be (Y/N) (Y/L/N), I presume?” he raised a hairy eyebrow, annoyance clear in his voice. You could tell you weren’t going to get along.
“Yes, sir,” you replied, sarcasm clear in your voice. His eyes narrowed at you, and you could hear some snickering in the back of the class.
“Well, welcome to AP Junior English, also known as the hardest class you’ll take in your whole life. My name is Mr. Rowan, and I’ll be the hardest teacher you’ll ever have in your whole life. At the moment, we are on our Shakespeare unit, and are currently reading Julius Caesar. You can get a book at the school library, and you can sit with-” he stopped in his rapid speech, and his eyes scanned the classroom. He finally settled on someone in the very back of the classroom, and a smirk spread across his face. “-Mr. LeBeau.”
Oh no, you thought, as a feeling of dread spread through you. This was one of the troublemakers Daisy had warned you about just moments ago. Oh dear God no, you thought again, as a sleepy head stirred. He’s hot. This Mr. Remy LeBeau had tousled brown hair with a goldish hint to it, and bright brown eyes that were visible, even in the gloomy light of the classroom.
“Yes?” came a sleepy, and equally raspy, voice, tinged with a New Orleans accent, that matched his handsome looks.
“Very kind of you to join us, Remy,” the teacher answered dryly. “I was just explaining to our new student, Ms/Mr. (Y/N), that you will be helping her/him catch up in this class. Now, you’ve already taken up enough of my time, so please sit down (Y/N), and pay close attention.” Mr. Rowan turned away from you, as if as soon as you were introduced and taken care of, you disappeared.
“Of course, teach,” you muttered under your breath, as you shuffled towards your seat at the back of the class. A few students sent you a friendly gaze, and a girl with short bright red hair and dark brown eyes stood out.
Throwing your backpack on the table, you sat down with a sigh and turned towards your sleepy table mate. “So, what’s the deal with Julius Caesar?” you asked, getting right to the point, and trying to ignore his devastating good looks.
Remy raised an eyebrow, leaning closer to you. “Do you usually open a conversation like dis, cher?” he asked, his voice dripping with honey. Up close, he was even more breathtaking. A chiseled jaw that was speckled with brown hair, and collar bones that stuck out of his loose fitting red shirt.
Mentally slapping yourself, you rolled your eyes. “Just tell me what’s going on in this class, so I can get caught up, fly boy.” your eyes flitted to the clock, and as you realized you still had forty-five minutes left in this class, and you groaned.
“Fly boy?” he questioned, letting out a little laugh. “So you must be a nerd, then.” His brown eyes flickered with amusement, as the teacher drolled on in the front of the classroom.
You huffed, and crossed you arms. “Listen here, LeBeau,” you made it quite clear you had no intentions of ever calling him by his first name. “I’m tired, stressed, and all I want to know is where we’re at in this stupid, bloody book. Got it?”
Remy sighed, and leaned back in his chair. “Well, you ain’t gonna make dis fun, are you? But soon enough, you’ll be beginn’ for old Remy to talk to you.”
~~~~
As soon as the bell rang, signalling the end of first period, you bolted out of there. For the rest of class, Remy had made a sarcastic comment after everything Mr. Rowan said. You had tried to at least get down a couple of sentences of notes, but damn it, that Cajun was chatting loud enough to distract you, but quiet enough so that Mr. Rowan couldn’t hear. Sighing, you walked down the hall towards your locker.
Just as you were about to walk around the corner to grab your AP Calculus book from your locker, you mowed down by a boy, running faster than anyone you had ever seen. He stopped right next to where you fell, a shocked expression on his face. “That wasn’t supposed to happen,” his voice thick with an accent, and he peered down at you. His blue eyes were wide with shock, and his mouth parted. “I wasn’t supposed to stop.”
“Well,” you grumbled, rubbing your head, as you picked you backpack off the ground. “You weren’t supposed to run me down either.”
“Oh,” his face started to color, as he realized he was just staring down at you as you tried to get up. “Let me help you,” he offered you a hand, hiding his shocked expression, with a charming smile.
You had to admit, he gave Remy a run for his money. The speedster had shockingly blue eyes, paired with thick lashes that any girl would be jealous of, and delicious looking pink lips. He was tall, very well built, and, the most shocking thing about him, was his hair. It looked like a bad dye job. It was mostly white, mixed in with bits and pieces of brown. Shaking yourself out of your lusty daze, you grabbed his offered hand, pulling yourself up. “Thanks. I guess I can forgive you now for nearly running me over,” you joked, and he blushed again, his whole pale face going pink.
“Oh, I, eh, I’m sorry about that,” he admitted, as you let go of his hand. “I’m Pietro. And you are?”
The same sinking feeling you had felt when Remy had introduced himself, was felt doubled. This was the other trouble maker Daisy had warned me about? you scoffed. But he’s so sweet. “(Y/N).” you replied, and he took your hand again. Instead of just shaking it, he brought it up to his lips, and kissed it. Your eyes went wide, and he let out a wild laugh.
Ah, so here’s the trouble making side. “Well, I hope we see more of each other. You won’t be able to get enough of me, no?” And with that, and a wink, he sped off, leaving you dumbfounded as the bell signalling second period rang.
What is wrong with this school?
“Doll, you can do anything you want.”
IMAGINE: Being Bucky’s soulmate.
Part two of “You always take such good care of us.”
You didn’t quite know what to think when a loud alert from FRIDAY woke you up. It was Thursday, one of the few days you had off, and you were utterly exhausted from patching up th. e Avenger’s various bumps and bruises. “What is it, FRIDAY?” you voice still scratchy from sleep, rubbing at your tired eyes.
“The Captain has requested your presence immediately, Miss,” came her cool Scottish voice. “He seems quite distraught.”
“Distraught?’ you repeated, your mind whirling as you got up from your bed quickly. You shrugged on a t-shirt over your tank top, and hopped into a pair of pants.
“Yes, Miss, he says that there is someone severely injured.” the AI replied, and you froze in your steps.
Severely injured? you echoed in your head, you eyes widening. The last time someone had been “severely injured”, had been at the Battle of Sokovia, was when Pietro nearly died, and after you had brought him back from the brink of death, you had nearly died. Without waiting for another instruction from the AI, you rushed out your room.
Almost tripping down the stairs, you barged into the medical room, your hair wild and your eyes wide. Steve stood up from where he was standing next to Sam and went to meet you. Immediately, you started to look him over, your hands tingling as you were ready to heal him.“Steve, what’s wrong?” you asked, your voice breathless. The blonde man’s face was a mixture of both worry and joy.
“(Y/N), we found him,” he whispered under his breath, and you gasped, peering over his shoulder. You hadn’t notice the extra body when you came in, but there was someone sitting on an exam table, while your best friend Sam talked softly to him.
“You found Bucky?” you asked, and he nodded in response. “Steve that’s great! Is he alright?” concerned laced your voice, as he hesitated.
“He is a little beat up,” he said slowly, scratching his head. “Do you think you could take a look at him?” you could detect the protective tone to his voice, and the hesitation in his blue eyes. You knew if you were in his position, the last thing you wanted to do was to introduce a new element to someone who had trust issues. But, you decided, you weren’t frightened, as you saw Bucky hunched over the exam table, fear clear in how his shoulders were slunched. He was just another patient and you’d do anything to help someone in need.
Meeting Steve’s trusting eyes, you smiled up at him. “Of course,” you answered, putting your hair into a ponytail. “Anything for someone in need.” he visibly relaxed, and squeezed your hand in thanks. Steve walked back to Sam and Bucky, as you got your supplies ready. You grabbed a clean pair of gloves, and sanitized your hands.
Taking a deep breath, you approached the exam table, snapping on the pair of gloves. Bucky’s fear filled eyes snapped up to you as you took in his appearance. Chin length dirty brown hair, warm brown eyes, and dark stubble visible on pale skin. Even from here, you could see visible wounds on his forehead, hands, but the one that concerned you the most was a wound peaking out from under his shirt that was still bleeding.
“It’s okay, Buck,” Steve told his friend softly, putting a gently hand on the brunette’s shoulder, Sam stood near him, a casual stance, but his hand near his holster. “(Y/N) can help. She can be trusted.” he promised, his eyes flashing up to yours. You nodded, a smile on your face. Cautiously, you sat next to him on the table, his dark eyes following your every move.
“Hey there cutie,” you said quietly, a sudden intake of breath from the two friends. “Can I put my hand your chest?” you questioned, wanting to make sure you didn’t scare him.
Bucky’s eyes widened, and he rubbed his right arm that was hidden under his jacket. “Doll, you can do anything you want,” his voice was raspy, and had a Brooklyn accent to it, but you didn’t. You only gasped, and your hand went straight to your ribs, where, in crooked writing, read Doll, you can do anything you want.
Steve and Sam seemed to get the jist of what was going on, as they both quietly exited the medical bay, as the two of you continued to stare each other in the eyes. You sat in silence for a moment, as you took in the situation. Suddenly, you remembered why you were there, and broke yourself out of your revere with a cough.
“Well, isn’t this just dandy?” you said with a smile, the tingling sensation growing in your fingers. “My soulmate being someone I’d patch up, and not one I’d meet in a compromising situation.” you joked, and he let out a small chuckle, which you thought was a rare occurrence for the man
“It kinda seemed that way, didn’t it?” Bucky murmured, his hand resting on your thigh, his eyes looking like melted chocolate. He seemed to have relaxed, his shoulders not as hunched as before, and the fear seemed to have disappeared. Bucky’s eyes roamed over your body, a hungry look in his eyes
Trying to ignore the other kind of tingling going on in a result of the handsome man, you put your hands on his head. “You may feel a slight warmth going through you…” you trailed off, closing your eyes as you started to heal him. Warmth flowed from your body into his own, patching up wounds, and the various bruises on his body disappearing. Opening your eyes (and thanking God you were sitting down, as you felt a little faint), you gave him a tired smile. He had a healthy flush to his face, and his skin was free from any cuts or bruises.
Breathing heavily, as if you just had run a marathon, Bucky’s eyes met yours. “How about we go get into a compromising situation?” he whispered into your ear, and you shivered as his tongue flicked against your ear.
You blushed from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. “Bucky, you can do anything you want.”
Thank youuu!
I just wanted to take a minute to thank @marveling-imagines for being so patient with me and my editing. I’m kind of dragging my feet and I apologise!
SUPERHERO 101
Lesson 9: How to handle an attacker without your powers.
”When am I not ready?”
”What is the point of this again?” you asked, yawning in the early Saturday morning air. The team was out in what looked like an abandoned city (it was imaginatively called “The City”), but was actually a training area far enough from the new facility so that no one (or building) could be hurt. It was another one of Cap’s “Let’s all get outside right when the sun gets up, and hurt each other! Go team!”. You had stayed up late last night with Sam, sharing drinks and stories, and you were a little hungover this morning. By the expression on the Falcon’s face, you could tell he was feeling the same.
”To learn how to handle multiple attackers who are empowered, and how to work with different people.” Steve was the only one out of the team who was bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. Wanda was nodding off on Pietro’s shoulder, while the speedster’s eyes started to glaze over. Rhodey looked like he was trying to listen, but kept on jerking his head up when it hit the top of his suit. Luckily for Clint and Natasha, the two had already flown out to visit Clint’s sister Laura and her kids.
”And if some of you had gone to bed earlier-” his eyes rested on you and Sam. The Falcon straightened next to you, while you kept your relaxed, slouched position. “-this early training could have been easier.”
You rolled your eyes, but you took a more alert posture, with your shoulders up and head up high. Even though Steve’s strict training regimen, and “take-no-shit” attitude annoyed you and you did make sarcastic comments and question his authority, there was strong bond between you. Ever since that day in the training room, you two had understood each other better. You were no longer the sarcastic, know it all, mutant Steve thought you were, but a kind, caring individual who was scared to show her true feelings and to trust people. And you now viewed Steve as not the stick-in-the-but leader he portrayed himself to be. He was courageous and loyal, and a lot like you, too scared to show his true emotions.
All these thoughts flashed before your eyes as you followed Steve’s examples. His blue eyes met (Y/E/C) ones, and they softened. “So, Cap, what are the teams?” Rhodey’s voice broke the two of you out of your silence, and turned to the Colonel.
”I’ll take the twins, and you can take the hungover duo,” you and Sam high-fived, while Rhodey groaned and the twins shared a smile. “The object of the game is to get a flag in the middle of the City that Clint planted before he left. My team will be over here-” the Captain motioned to the farthest end of the City. “-and Rhodey’s will start here. Each team gets ten minutes to come up with a strategy before everyone is fair game. You have to either render your opponent unmovable. Or hit them in the chest, stomach, or heard with one of the paintballs that the tech team has replaced for our regular bullets. Any questions?” everyone was silent, as they tried to come up with a good plan. “Good. My team let’s move.” And with that, Steve was already running towards the other side.”
”Good luck, lyubulu,” Pietro teased, the European brushing past you to follow the Captain. “You’ll need it.”
You snorted, and his blue eyes flashed. “Sure, Speedy, it’ll be me who needs the luck.” you rebuked, and Wanda laughed, as Pietro picked her up in his arms. The brunette winked at you, her eyes red, before they were both gone in a flash.
Turning back to your two team mates, Rhodey’s eyebrows were knitted together as he tried to think of a strategy. “We are severely outnumbered, aren’t we? Two regular joes and a mutant against a super soldier, a witch, and a guy who moves so fast you can’t seem him.” there was a bit of panic in his voice, and you could see Sam start to get nervous too.
”But we’ve got two guys who can fly with years of experience on their hands, and a mutant who can control the elements,” as soon as the words got out of your mouth, an idea started to form in your head.
Sam recognized the expression on your face, and a smile spread across his face. “What’s your idea princess? Somethin’ to even the odds?”
You copied his grin, but there was something feral and wild on your face. “It’ll definitely even the odds. But first, we got to shield our minds.”
Across the City, Wanda suddenly gasped as she was suddenly thrown out of your minds. Where she was just getting streams of emotion, there was just a blank space. Sam’s and Rhodey’s mind were blocked by a shimmering shield made of fire, that Wanda knew was you. For your own block, you were thinking of a memory that had nothing to do with what was happening.”
”Wanda?” Steve pried, as Wanda blinked, the far away look disappearing from her eyes. “What did you find out?”
”They have a plan, but she blocked me,” Wanda replied, an annoyed tone to her voice. And from across the City, your lips spread into a slow smile.
Opening your eyes, you gave the two fliers a thumb up. “It worked, she has no idea what we are thinking.” there was a hint of confidence and pride in your voice, and Rhodey gave you an approving pat on the shoulder.
”Good job, kiddo. What’s the next step?” the Colonel asked, and the Falcon checked his clock. Five minutes left.
”How about leveling the playing field?” there was a mischievous tone to your voice as you suddenly crouched to the ground. The weak sunlight flashed off the scale like material of your suit as you pressed your gloved hands against the ground. Taking a deep breath, you shut off the rest of the world. Rhodey and Sam’s voice faded into the background, the world turned black as you felt and smelt the cold ground beneath your hands.
Fog, you thought, as tendrils of your power sunk beneath the ground. It sparked up the ground underneath you as the water in the soil started to rise up, and gather right under the surface. Fog, you though again, as thick, white fog rose the the cold ground. You were shot back into reality, as Rhodey and Sam’s voices came back, along with the sight of gray and white as you opened your eyes.
”Genesis? (Y/N)?” there was a hand shaking your shoulder, as you blinked the world back into focus. Sam’s concerned face stared back at you, as he gently helped you up to your feet. “You alright?”
”Yeah,” you said breathlessly, blinking away black spots at the edge your vision. “It just took a lot of power making that fog.”
”Well, it definitely worked,” Sam laughed, as Rhodey let out a low whistle. The area around you was covered in a cloak of white. You could see the fog slowly get thicker and thicker, and bigger and bigger, until you could barely see the two men standing next to you. It was weird, it was like the fog was an extension of you. You could feel it brush against the buildings, and crawl across the ground. It was an amazing, yet terrifying feeling.
Shaking yourself out of your reverie as you realized how little time you had left, you finished the rest of your strategy. “Rhodey, you go after Pietro. He’ll be fast, but you’ll be able to see better from above the clouds.” he nodded, as his face mask dropped down. But before it did, you thought you detected a look of pride on his face. “Sam, you got Wanda. You’ve got a big advantage over her- she can’t get into your mind at all.” Sam nodded, and his wings erupted from his bag. “And that leaves me with Cap. Everyone ready?” The two men nodded, and without another word, they were off. The last thing Sam thought was that the air smelt of your perfume.
Across the City, the alarm dinged on Steve’s watch, just as the fog reach his team. His brows furrowed as he breathed in the smell of your perfume. Looking out the others next to him, he noticed the almost identical quizzical looks on their faces. But, he knew he couldn’t let himself get distracted by irrational thoughts. Nodding to the twins, Pietri was of in a blue flash, while Wanda melted into the white mass with a wink of red. And for Steve? He had a mutant to catch.
As the two men flew off, you unwound your whip from your arm. Unlike rest of your team, you disliked using guns if you didn’t have to. Your Master (even thinking about it made your bones burn) would punish you if you used to much of your powers, and forced you to use guns. But now that you were free of his control, you could use whatever you pleased. And your weapons of choice was your powers, silver adamantinum whip, and your two long silver knifes that were attached to your head. A wild smile grew across your face as you stepped into the fog.
It was probably not as difficult as the others members of your team as you navigated the fog. It diverted in front of you into two different paths, and you could see quite well. But every now and then, there would be the sound of gun fire, or a flash of blue, and the fog would enclose around you in a protective shield. You weren’t even doing that- just like that one night with Pietro, your powers were acting on their own accord to protect you.
Suddenly, there was the sound of a twig cracking behind you. Whirling around, your whip cracked, and there was the sound of a body hitting the ground. The fog parted as you stalked up to see who it was. Wanda laid sprawled on her back, and with a gesture of your hands, the grass sprung up around her, encasing her in a blanket of green. She let out a curse in Sokovian, and you laughed. “You got Sam, didn’t you?” you asked, a smile on your face.
The brunette sighed, as she realized struggling was useless. “He dropped his own gun, and I shot him, it was too-” she suddenly stopped talking as her brown eyes widened, as she starred behind you.
Before you could turn around, a body came out of nowhere, and plowed you to the ground. You snarled, and threw them off, and got up nimbly to you feet. In front of you, also standing, was Captain America himself. The blonde grinned at you, and just as you were going to do to him the same thing you did to Wanda, he held up a hand. “No powers.”
”What?” you asked in disbelief, as the two of you circled around each other. “You have your strength and size. That counts as powers,” you said accusuingly, as fire crackled in your hair.
He shrugged, and threw his gun and shield to the side. “Then we’ll make it even.” there was a challenge in his voice, and you pride wouldn’t let you turn him down. His blue eyes starred into yours, and you cursed under your breath.
”Fine,” you snarled. “No powers.” Internally, you pushed away your powers. You could feel the difference in the fog almost immediate. It was no longer alive and a part of you, but just normal fog. And that annoyed you.
”You ready?” there was a patronizing tone to his voice that made you want to gouge out his pretty little eyes.
”When am I not ready?” you hissed. You cracked your whip at your side, and in a flash, you threw one of your knives at his head. He rolled away from it, and was up again, punching you in the ribs. Staggering back, he took that oppurtnity to kick your leg out from under you. Now on the ground, you caught his leg in your whip, but he just dropped onto you, and grabbed your arms, and held them above you.
Suddenly you were in that dream again, with the lioness pinning you down, and her hot breath on her cheek. There must have been some visible change in your face, as his eyes widened. Suddenly, you were the one pinning him down. Your breaths were coming out in rapid gasps, and fire started to flash in your hair.
”Genesis,” he said, his voice very gentle and come. “(Y/N), it’s okay, you’re not in danger.” your heart rate started to steady, and you rolled away from him in a gasp.
You had just been so caught up in that memory that you had acted on instinct. Steve offered you his hand, his eyes kind, and without hesistation, you took it. He pulled you in for a brief hug, before letting you go. “How about we get Wanda out? And I see Pietro in a net. I think he’s crying.”

She joined the Chaste but they didn't believe in revenge and advised her to let her hatred go. But she couldn't so Sutton tried to kill the Beast but he was to much and bested her. The Beast tried to brainwash her but her willpower was to strong. Sutton managed to escape and tracked down a organization called the Assassin's Guild. When Sutton showed up on their doorstep in New Orleans asking for training in order to kill the Beast. The Assassin's Guild immediately took her in because the Hand was a rival organization and was taking over to much of their territory because of the Beast and his magic. Sutton under went months of training until she finally mastered Enhanced Assassination she went back to the Hand and killed The Beast. Even though the Beast died Sutton was able to keep her magical abilities because she was the one that killed him. Her relationship with Assassin's Guild became dark after she realized she owed them a debt for training her. She swore loyalty to them until the debt was fulfilled and ended up killing for them but only other big name evil players. Sutton never thought she would cross paths with her older sister by joining the organization. A few months later when she only had to carry out one more debt to be free of the Assassin's Guild her whole world was turned upside down. Their main rival organization the Thieves Guild sent a thief to steal a sacred weapon from them, and the thief was successful so as her last mission. Sutton was to track down the thief, retrieve the weapon, and kill her. Sutton tracked down the thief and bested her in battle but before she could take the final blow the thief named Genesis hood was blown off. Sutton recognized her as her older sister because of her eyes the only thing she remembered about her nice caring older sister. Once again Sutton couldn't finish the job Genesis saw her hesitation but the pain in her eyes is what kept Genesis from attacking her. In a moment of weakness Sutton called her by her childhood nickname and Genesis realized who it was. Genesis went in to hug her but Sutton pushed her away and told her to leave the Assassin's Guild alone and took the weapon and ran away. When Sutton reported back to the Assassin's Guild she made it clear that she was done killing for them, and told them to stay away from the thief. The Assassin's Guild told her it would've been better to kill Genesis anyway so nothing could her back. But Sutton warned them that they would end up like the Hand if they crossed her. Her training with both organizations made her more powerful and deadly. After leaving the Assassin's Guild she lost her way and meaning in life. Sutton didn't know what to do because all she was ever good at was killing people. She spent most of her time sleeping and drinking. Until one night a drunk man tried to assault her she was about to kill him. But a man named Logan stopped her out of rage Sutton turned on him. Once she saw his mutation she stopped Logan recognized her frustrations and hatred for the world and offered to help her. At first Sutton turned him down but then her loneliness got the better of her. She confided in Logan about killing people and her remorse and hatred. Logan helped her come to terms with her demons, and told her she could do good all she had to do was take a new path in life and try not to kill anymore. They started a romantic relationship she went with him to Charles Xavier's School for the Gifted. There she found peace and became more happy and nice. She became good friends with Jean who put up blocks in her head to help her not kill anymore. For once everything was okay until Genesis showed up again at the school. This time she didn't run Sutton and Genesis reconnected but Logan advised Genesis not to tell her about her situation with her master or Sutton would lose it. The Assassin's Guild resurfaced to kill Genesis again after her master had another thief steal something again. Sutton caught word and all of those blocks came down she turned into a killer again and murdered her former masters in the Assassin's Guild. So they would leave her sister alone she decided to leave the school, Logan and Genesis tried to convince her it was okay. That she didn't hate or judge her for what she did. But Sutton told her all she was a killer and couldn't change. Genesis told her she wouldn't give up on her because she was a good person and her family but Sutton still left. Logan and her stayed together despite the distance because he understood her better than anyone. She became a vigilante for Chicago finally finding some peace with herself.
