they both have different ideas of what darkchylde means to ilyana and how it should be dealt with, so while it is a point of disagreement between them, it is a nice thing how they both care about her

i do think stephen tries to reach out to doom after levi has died, but it is in the midst of a huge conflict, so doom does not exactly answer his messages. it would be a courtesy call but also to make sure doom isn’t trying to get revenge. but doom never responds!

the gift levi sends strange is an art piece, likely a large portrait since he would be practicing painting again in his physical rehabilitation. but levi likes to use mixed media so there are very lovely patterns of beads and embroidery on the canvas. he just drops it off in person at his door without knocking with no packaging or return address, but stephen probably has some way of figuring out who left it. this would also be one of the first ways levi is known to be alive again assuming stephen doesn’t leave it a mystery lmao

levi likes to hear mythological stories, and probably asks stephen for one to kill time at the gala if he isn’t terribly busy. they don’t meet too often socially outside of events like that i imagine 💔

outside of business/political settings, levi refers to people by their first names as a way to put everyone on equal ground, but strange is one of the few people he would ask if he preferred stephen or doctor strange. one part respect one part fear

awh wait it’d be cute if stephen reached out when levi comes back. get that boy some more friends. but stephen is so busy…. idk!!

FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK FOR HIM. strange hates levi a little bit, but also feels bad for him, but also likes him a little bit. levi is wary of strange but also grateful. it changes over the years so here it kind of is chronologically

levi studied the very most basic magic, the only stuff he was allowed to read in doom’s library (and he couldn’t understand all of it lbr), and god does he misuse it. there is the time he opened the door to hell to let demons out to get strange out of his house to rob him. there is the fact levi made a deal with mephisto. strange hates that his spells work. you know those photos

this is what levi’s spells look like to strange. there is an odd bit of respect that he is able to get them to work at all, but mostly horror at the execution. they usually fly under his mystic alarm radar in the way you don’t know you have an anthill in your yard until you see a lot of them.

strange helps levi bypass the protections doom put on him to sacrifice himself in an “it must be done” situation, but levi wanted it to be done so he has no qualms with strange for that. then, the year he was in hell was the same year strange helped doom free cynthia’s soul. he was busy with his own stuff so there was no interaction between those two storylines, but he was aware it happened (maybe he could have seen it. that would be cool) and is so so grateful that he helped doom be rid of that burden. he sends him an anonymous gift once he’s, you know, alive again.

because of the fact strange had to examine levi (academically + medically) to do the previously mentioned sacrifice, after that point strange knows how he works and what happened (how he lost literally his entire body), and though he doesn’t take any personal responsibility in helping him because they don’t know each other like that, he does feel bad. mostly levi is still an annoyance mystically, but i think strange is surprised at how pleasant and subtly funny a person levi can be when he’s not scared for his life.

+ because of levi’s friendship with magik through his friend teagan, he kind of inherited the viewpoint of stephen as an overbearing teacher. he thinks strange can be a bit pompous, but concedes that it is deserved, so it doesn’t bother him. what does bother him is that he doesn’t know how his own body works, just that it involved doom’s usual combination of sorcery and science, and so before allowing stephen to examine him, was like “what if he can just rip my soul from my body. let’s just not mess with him” and still thinks that sometimes afterwards because he’s just prone to that type of thinking. i don’t think strange corrects him on this lmao

tony my tony i wanna know what would levi think of tony

LEVI HATES HIM LOL i am so sorry levi hates your girlfriends…… even though tony has turned a new leaf, levi doesn’t forget tony’s past in arms dealing + providing weaponry to the us government. he recognizes that tony is doing good work now, but he places a lot of value on life and doesn’t think it’s a debt tony can settle. but unlike with reed, because it’s a moral distaste and not a personal one, levi isn’t loud and in his face about it, he just doesn’t entertain tony with banter any time they are on opposing sides. this is almost worse for tony because tony loves to banter and sees that levi will do that with most other people, but for him it’s only business? sad and boring </3

i do think that in a weird way, tony is glad for it, because it is one of those many little things that reminds him why he chose a better path. i don’t think tony feels a lot of empathy for levi because of the distance they keep, but i don’t think he feels a lot of actual hatred either. they don’t interact a lot so levi is just small potatoes to him until he has one of his monumental failure moments (only 2 or 3 times) and puts the world at risk, and then it’s an annoyance to deal with to save it. i think he just does not think of levi at all outside of his engineer’s curiosity on how he works.

outside of hero vs villain dealings, they find each other gauche and tasteless. tony showed up to the hellfire gala in jeans. levi paints his creations with a brush instead of using decals. one million tiny things that make them avoid each other. it is a shame because they have interesting similar stories/themes on how they are reliant on the technology that keeps them alive, so there may be hope for them yet
